Google's Matt Cutts announced on Twitter at 2:13am EST that Google has taken action on a "large guest blog network." This time, Matt Cutts did not specifically say which network they targeted.
Matt links to his post on his personal blog named The decay and fall of guest blogging for SEO. http://tgcafe.it/OwrsEg (I am sure most of us are familiar with it)
So which guest blog network was hit? believes it was . If you search for their name in Google it doesn't come up anymore. http://tgcafe.it/1gavj5s
and - is that true?
UPDATE: Ann Smarty did confirmed it was MyBlogGuest that was penalized. You can see her and Gerald's comments on the situation in the comment section of this post at http://tgcafe.it/1gGR4IV
*Side note: just remember that guest blogging still has a very valid reason to exist - it's all a matter of HOW you use it.
I'd highly recommend you watch and 's Why Guest Blogging Is Still a Valid Marketing Strategy https://plus.google.com/u/0/+Stonetemple/posts/bc4Nsv6MBAk

My exposure to the world of Social Media started in 2006 when I was helping a friend start a project with short films. We had no experience whatsoever in film, but took the plunge on faith. For one reason or another our focus changed from short films to video blogs, and from there the project took off beyond our expectations.
Through that experience, I realized the huge role that Social Media plays not only in business, but also in creating awareness and connecting with the rest of the world. Best of all, it’s a form of media over which you have complete control.
Over recent years, I’ve consulted with many non-profit organizations, small businesses, and online education organizations to help them use social media and online marketing, developing creative ideas and ways to promote and grow their businesses. I get great satisfaction from empowering others to start their businesses, become independent, grow, and create a lasting legacy for themselves and their families.
