I'm dorking around with Blogger, and have been angered twice in the last 12 hours because it opted me in to automatic G+ posts shortly after I explicitly chose not to turn that feature on.
First of all: Why are "auto share" and "prompt to share" independent checkboxes? What does it mean to have both of them checked?
Second of all: If I look at a settings screen, explicitly toggle one of the settings about sharing, and therefore did not choose to toggle the other one, why does G+ interpret that to mean I want to be opted in to the setting I did not choose?
Third of all: Is this going to be like phone number verification in Android Hangouts, where it'll periodically try to opt me in despite my explicit desire to NOT enable it?
(Side note: Why does Hangouts refer to it as "phone number verification" instead of what it really is, which is "publicly list your phone number"?)
