We are very excited and grateful to have matched $1 million at the Community Foundation of Morgan County. More than 1,000 people, businesses and community organizations made the match possible, and NOW not only do we have the opportunity to assist so many more non-profit organizations in the county, but those organizations that received the match will also be extending their reach. Great things are going to happen. #GoodToGreater #Philanthropy #Grants

Community Solutions Inc., assists non-profit clients with program development, organizational development, and fund development.

Because many non-profits have a limited budget they now offer a formal pro bono program each year. Applications are currently being accepted for 501(c)(3) community-based organizations with agency budgets under $500,000 that have been operational for at least 3 years.

The Pro Bono program includes 120 hours of free services provided over a 12-month period. Once the applicant is selected, Community Solutions and the chosen organization will develop a scope of work detailing how the hours will be used based on the needs identified.

A possible mass transit plan that would connect people in 3 counties to jobs, education, and medical services.

An #Indianapolis rapid transit plan has cleared a major hurdle. The Federal Transit Administration is recommending $75 million for IndyGo's planned Red Line Bus Rapid Transit route. If approved, the money will fund the first phase of a planned 35-mile, three-county rapid transit line. IndyGo President Mike Terry says the first 13-mile stretch will connect riders with 100,000 existing jobs, four major educational institutions and hospitals and medical services.

We're excited to unveil our latest video!

The Ready Set Quit Tobacco Coalition (RSQT) began in February 2008 when a group of concerned citizens decided to take action, and work together to lower the 29% adult smoking rate in the Morgan County community. In 2014, RSQT joined the CFMC as a fund. For the past three years they have also been recipients of Kendrick Foundation grants.
