My girlfriend and I chose Youngberg Hill as a place to stay for a night during our week-long Pacific Northwest vacation. After staying there, we wished we had budgeted more time to stay with them as opposed to some of the other locations we stayed during our trip. Becky greeted us immediately upon arrival and gave us a quick building tour. We loved the attention to detail regarding our room preparation, the hour of wine tasting with the other Inn guests, and (on a summer Wine Wednesday) the special music on the 270° deck. Wayne was friendly and cheerfully poured and described his wines for us. The property is beautiful. Breakfast was just fine and not over-filling, which is good, because we had a huge meal in McMinnville the night before. If we make trips to Oregon Wine Country in the future, we will definitely budget more time to stay at Youngberg Hill, not to mention recommend it to our friends in the meantime.

Well, I would give it a five. We loved our two night stay and will be back as soon as our travel schedule will allow us to do so. Eileene and I would like to come to Youngberg Hill for a week in, hopefully, 2017. Where can you have a great room, wonderful scenery, great breakfast, and good wine in the evening, all for a reasonable price. We loved it and will definitely recommend it to our friends in Kansas City. Wayne is a great host, and we appreciated the hospitality of Wayne and Becky. This was out first trip to the Oregon wine country and Youngberg Hill is the main reason we will be back. Thank you Wayne!!! When you are in Kansas City I hope our schedule allows us to join you for a meal and some of your excellent wine.

Thank you Leland. Glad you enjoyed your stay with us and that it helped make your first trip to Oregon a great one. I will definitely let you know when I am back in KC, probably Spring of next year. See you in 2017 in Oregon again. Cheers, Wayne

We've had the privilege of both staying at Youngberg Hill and photographing weddings at Youngberg Hill many times. As a bed and breakfast, it is unparalleled in the region. The views are stunning, the space restful and beautiful. The food is always delicious, and the hosts warm and inviting. We always come away refreshed. The same applies for weddings. The staff is always gracious and professional, and the vineyard is a stunning venue for a celebration. In fact, we've won a number of awards for our wedding photographs here. Highly recommended.

There are many photographers in the valley and then there is Fritz who is an AMAZING photographer! We have so enjoyed getting to know you and have you back throughout the years. We love hearing how your family grows and all the many adventures you take. Thank you for all the years of outstanding service to all who have had the privilege of being in front of your camera!

Beautiful place to relax and explore the Willamette Valley. Food and service were equal to the beautiful room. The view from our room was spectacular and the amenities in the inn and room were wonderful. I would recommend Youngberg to anyone.

We wanted to get out of the cold during our spring break. When we left the house in Alaska's Interior, it was -30F. Staying at Youngberg Hill truly validated that we'd made the proper choice to stay somewhere that the people were as warm as the setting! Breath-taking views, relaxing and quiet atmosphere, and some of the kindest folks we'd ever hoped to meet. We're already looking forward to returning during next year's spring break!

Hi Timothy, What fun it was to have you stay with us from Alaska and we are so happy we could warm you up. We look forward to your next trip to Oregon were we can spoil you again with another great glass of Pinot Noir!

What a beautiful place for a wonderful vacation exploring the fantastic wines of the Willamette Valley! My husband and I enjoyed a week long visit to celebrate our anniversary and were totally pleased with our entire experience! We were fortunate enough to arrive on the Saturday of the Harvest Wine tasting dinner which was fabulous- food and wine! And mentioning food, the breakfasts that Becky and Colleen prepared every morning were out of this world! Wayne would take the time to sit down with us every morning to discuss our plans for the day and give recommendations for wineries and other local spots to visit. A perfect way to send us off for our day of wine tasting and enjoying the richness of Oregon! We have already spoken with family to hopefully make plans for another visit!

This was our first visit but it will not be our last. There is an immediate appeal to this place. It is beautiful, well decorated, and well kept. It has an amazing 360 degree view and plenty of walking space. The wrap around porch is the perfect setting to enjoy the view, the company, the two resident dogs, and of course a glass of wine. What sets this property apart from all the others is the outstanding service. Colleen has a warmth and sincerity about her that makes you feel at home the moment you meet her. Wayne, is friendly, funny, open, and so knowledgeable you don't even realize you are learning while you are enjoying his wine tasting events!

Hi Glory, We are so glad you had a chance to come to our private Inn guest wine tasting. We like to think we offer an education during the wine tastings. The education may be as simple as 'Do you like it?' or as advanced as 'That vintage was long and cool so...'. We pride ourselves on offering everyone an experience they can remember and grow with over the years. We will have a glass waiting for you next time you arrive!

We are on pins and needles waiting to hear the results of the Oregon Bride Magazine's "Best of" contest.  Last year we had the honor of winning the award for "Best All Inclusive Venue."
