Yeah....that just happens sometimes. I definitely would've gone on AT LEAST one more round if $88,000 actually would've been the offer (we know how bloated the Banker's prove-out offers are on this version), as the $250,000 would've been the only case higher than the offer. I most certainly wouldn't want to push it after that (despite $50K and $75K being a nice fallback, but it's still significantly less than $250K).
I might have taken the next offer, which realistically would've been around $60,000, but if I had been under the pressure on the show, I might have ended up going all the way; he probably would've been offered around $100,000 at the 3-case point, and with $50,000 and $75,000 as the other two amounts, that wouldn't have been enough for me to sell away my chance at $250,000 ($125,000 might have been enough, but since that was the average of the board, the Banker probably wouldn't have offered that amount in actuality).
