Tabletop crowd funding campaign

I having fun watching the show every time so I decided to chip for season 3. Even if you don't want to give, check the show on +Geek & Sundry  it is a lot of fun thanks to +Wil Wheaton and his guests.

Internet of things

Now Samsung is getting into the game. the only trouble? We need consistent and open standards, otherwise consumers will be locked up with one maker and :
_ it will be difficult to improve performance
_ tricky to add new rooms and/ or extend the network
_ nearly impossible to switch

But I am still very optimistic about everything smarthome or internet of things related!

Just buy a new refrigerator, install the Android app, and you're ready to go!

Hypercharger

Very promising crowd funded battery project. I'd be interested

The LithiumCard is a "hypercharger" that is also easy transportable.
The LithiumCard, which is about the same size as three credit cards stacked on top of each other, is a so-called "hypercharger."

a funny infograpic

Wi-Fi is indeed quite important and this illustration makes a great point. But probably a bit over the top, or not.

indeed +Paul Griswold that's the irony of it. It comes from Reddit, showing how self-centered, or ignorant, a lot of people might have become. It is either that, or it was made to get people to react. I hope for the latter but I am not too optimistic. Thank you for your comment!

Enjoying cooking & family life is my day job, otherwise I help brands being interesting online
Introduction
I have been doing marketing online for 14 years in creative agencies, on the client side, and more recently at Google. Digital is not only my job but also a passion, and I am impressed and always surprised by the impact it has on our everyday lives.

Work is of course not everything and I am always looking for ways to please my friends and family with good and healthy food. If you have a good restaurant or a recipe to share, I am all ears.

You can follow me on Twitter, LinkedIn or on my blog.

A relaxing and beautiful place. One gets in through a Japanese garden through to a traditional Japanese house. The staff is great and food excellent. Prices are reasonable and there is a lot to eat. A rare place still accessible in the heart of Kyoto.

(京都駅が近いのでロッカーが便利です) Recently open business hotel with a modern and simple interior decoration. The rooms are well designed with all the amenities one can think of. Wi-Fi is quick and free. The staff is friendly and ready to help. It is conveniently located close to the bus stops and subway stations, which makes it a great place to stay for visiting the city. Remarks: I didn't try the food so there is nothing I can tell about it. The last checkout fee is prohibitive (10% of your total bill per hour!) so avoid it if you can and use the lockers at Kyoto station, or closer, if you have time for more visits before your train.

Ohta Sushi was my first sushi in Tokyo in 1999 and I am stil a customer today. It is one of these hidden places that someone needs to bring you to. The family running the business is great, they run it in their own house and the food is amazing. Both the quality and quantity are memorable. Lunch is busy but great value for money and you need to book at night because it is tiny. It is intimidating at first but if you speak some Japanese you will be okay, the Ohtas are the most welcoming people ever.

Relaxed atmosphere, always serving tasty yakitori. The staff makes sure to be ready to help all the time, and it makes a difference. It is one of the those places where you feel at home. The prices are reasonable so give it a try. The only minuses are the crowd on Thursdays and Fridays, and the tobacco smoke that is overpowering and literally stops you at the door some on those days.
