Great personalized hike. Professionally photos taken. Wonderful experience that would recommend to anyone. We got up close with some deer and even had a coyote run past us. How cool!

Cannot say enough good things about yExplore. This was our second hike with them, and John guided us expertly to the summit of Half Dome and back down safely. The experience was amazing, spectacular, just too wonderful for words. John knows the trails and peaks of Yosemite inside and out, down to the history, geology, and wildflowers -- he is a fabulous guide and generously shares his love and respect for nature to make any trip with him special.

In April we had 3 days of adventure hikes with YExplore to Mariposa Grove, Eastern Yosemite Valley, and Sentinel Dome/Taft Point. Since it was our first time in the Park we completely relied on Catherine’s advice in planning our program for Yosemite. All three hikes were unforgettable! Elspie Mange and Erik Sloan, our guides, were excellent and very knowledgeable. In addition to seeing breathtaking views we heard stories about the history of the park, climbing, and nature. One of the best vacations! Thank you! Helen Stein

John took us on a really enjoyable 5-hour hike to Inspiration Point in early January. John is extremely knowledgeable on a wide range of subjects (geology, trees, animals, history, etc.) and will happily answer any questions you have. The pace of the hike was perfect and the views among the best I have seen anywhere in the world. Very competitively priced and worth every penny. Thanks a million! P.s. I know John also leads trips on more technical/demanding routes, so also a good option for more the experienced.

My fiancé and I went up half dome with John and Tim. I know we wouldn't have made it without them. Having them break up the trip into stages and helping us up the cables. Priceless. Thank you so much for a great adventure, peaches, and the view of a lifetime. Catherine as well was great getting us all the info and getting set up.

Mindy from YExplore was an exceptional guide for our group. 3 Adults and 3 teenagers. She talked about Yosemite history, formation and the hikes we were going on. She was very positive and it made for a great experience for us all. I would definitely recommend YExplore as they were responsive and communication was great.

Went with Ryan and my wife, 12 and 8 yr old on an overnight camp hike to Young Lakes. Worth the aching muscles! Catherine was very helpful and patient .
