There's also a lot of nobility in the actions of some of those original white guys.
Also, while I agree there's some factual inaccuracies, it's also true that many people grossly misstate the religion of the "Founding Fathers" in the other
direction, saying, for example, "most of them were Deists." Not remotely. Most of them were just plain old Protestants and Unitarians, and by today's standards even, fairly orthodox.
There were few Deists, although they were prominent: Franklin (for a time), Jefferson, Paine. Washington is often identified as Deist, but one of the central tenets of Deism is a belief that God isn't active in our lives, and Washington very clearly believed otherwise, making regular references to "Providence."
So I think her views of the Founders were closer to what I often here from the "other side."
Anyway, the reason I couldn't get through it was the drama. I cannot stand presentations like that, even if I agree with everything being said.
