"Views forever" from its perch atop the Hollywood Hills plus a "beautiful" secluded pagoda setting and "spectacular" gardens primed for "romantic" evenings send "trendy" folks to this "venerable" Cal-Asian "icon" to "celebrate"; the "typical" menu presented by a "professional" staff includes sushi standards and some "delicate" entrees but requires a "big wallet", so "drinks and an appetizer" may be the "best bet."
The scenery only good. The price is very expensive and it tastes terrible. Maybe it was the intern in charge of the kitchen.
Please, valet parking and only take pictures.
Because this is not restaurant, may be tourist attraction.
It was OK. All the hype is about the location and views. The food is meh. Maybe 1-2 vegetarian options. It is very over-priced & the drinks are really expensive. But it's alright if you want to come here for drinks and check out the view. Also, valet only which is $11.
Racist host and staff. Over priced. And over hyped . kind of a panda express on top of a hill. Witch only part of the restaurant shares a good view. Very poor service . very un impressed and over priced.
Enjoyed excellent service starting with valet, the hosts,
to the server. I came for a birthday dinner and shared the boat for 2 to 4 people with leftovers after calamari and crab cakes for appetizers. The martinis were , but do not expect them to be too strong at all.
Pretty views from above the Magic Castle.
FOR THE LAST 16 YEARS ITS BEEN ABOSULETLY HORRIBLE...SERVICE AWFUL, ALL THE OLD STAFF ARE GONE. THE FOOD IS RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED AND TERRIBLE, THE MENU IS LIKE SOMETHING FROM OUTBACK INSTEAD OF JAPANESE!!!.A REAL DISASTER AFTER COMING HERE FOR 40 YEARS. GLOVERS YOU SUCK!!!!HOLLYWOOD WONT COME BACK WITH YOUR TERRIBLE "CALIFORNIA CUISUNE " Just heard you sold Glover. THATS GREAT NEWS.MAYBE THE NEW OWNERS WILL RETURN IT TO WHAT IT ONCE WAS.
