amazinggggg view of LA. Good food but I went once for a beer only and they did not let me sit. That was a bummer because they made us sit at the bar and not by the windows, which was the main reason we went there. The view is great and good food.

Should receive only 2 or 3 stars... but, the view and building are awesome. We had terrible service, a hair in the tempura batter and shell pieces in the uni... but, the views!!!

Brought my wife here to catch it before it possibly closes down. After many years, I finally had a woman worth bringing. The views are great and our server Alfredo was knowledgeable and friendly.

The food was a gigantic let down. Myself and my mother both had fish dishes that were subpar. The chopsticks given were wood and cheap. Compared to the $40 fish, this was unbelievable. The wait staff was very nice but when arriving there was a back up in reservations, so we had to wait to be seated. The food was extremely Americanized and very uninteresting. The price level was outrages for the less then creative food options. We compared our experience with PF Changs, (which is extremely Americanized Chinese) and we were left feeling very bereft. We would have had better food, better service, cheaper prices and nicer chopsticks. Be prepared to Valet park as well. The fee is $10 and then add tip to it. There is no self parking and trying to find parking in the neighborhood will be a nightmare. Unless this restaurant changes, I will never take a guest here again.

The sushi was just ok for the money, but the entrées were worth every penny. Miso black cod with wasabi mash was subtle, beautifully cooked yet divinely flavorful.

My wife took me there for our first date ( my 21st b-day) back in 1987. I was completly blown away!!! The atmostphere is so awesome it's very intimidating. The waiter took our entire order and did not write a thing down??? Everything was on the mark! Candlelit tables, very low light & romantic☺. Overlooking all of Hollywood...like i said; Intimidating!! Want to stain her brain forever with a memory that should be everyone's FIRST date.....this is it! Go! Johnny Pantano 4/27/16.
