Early on a humid Tuesday morning in May, Robert Xiao, a 26-year-old Ph.D. student, stares intently at his MacBook, his eyes darting among his Windows, OS X, and Linux setups, indie K-pop blaring from his headphones. He hasn't slept in 22 hours. Around him, in the fancy main ballroom of the ...

The horchata is terrible, and the carne asada leaves much to be desired. Perhaps the reason the food is so subpar is because the owner spends all of his time harassing customers, as evidenced by multiple reviews all over the internet. I actually saw him kick a cyclist's back wheel, and when I told him that harassing cyclists isn't cool, instead of apologizing, he launched into threats and harassment towards me. Even if the food was actually good (which, well, it isn't), I would avoid this place on principle.

I was pretty exhausted from a lot of traveling and too much work, and dana hotel and spa was a true respite. I love the bath products, the food was great, and the room is cute with lots of character. Very comfortable beds and a gorgeous view. But the best reason to stay at this hotel is the spa. I had an aromatherapy massage with Eric and... best massage ever doesn't cut it. It was phenomenal. So glad I stayed here.
