I'm rating initial customer service. I would NEVER let them move me after my phone conversation. I called to get a quote for interstate move and spoke to the rudest guy ever. He should not be answering phones at all. He was very short and talked over me. And because he talked over me; he didn't hear my actual request and misunderstood. I just hang up because I could tell this was gonna be bad from beginning to end. Just be weary; if they are rude before they even get your business; just imagine how they will be once that check is cashed. Sucks for them because my line of work requires relocation and I have payment through my new job. You guys just lost a potential customer which would have provided multiple referrals for my colleagues that are moving soon. At least I didn't have to waste my time or money and I am happy about that. Again; I can't rate the move but the first impression was terrible.

I used Xpress Movers for my move from Waltham to Newton. I was really worried at the beginning, since it is my business that I was relocating. On the moving day, I realized that all my worries were unnecessary. The crew was very professional, communication was excellent, and not only that but nothing got damaged. Thank you all for the wonderful experience. Felipe and Annie for coordinating my move, and the wonderful movers - Derrick, Wifredo, and Ian.

Hire someone else! Xpress Movers moved my family about 20 miles within Massachusetts. The setup process with Felipe was very smooth, but things went downhill from there. The moving crew arrived late to pack the original house, nearly destroying a powerline in the process of parking their truck. Two of the three crew members struggled to speak English, which was extremely frustrating. They moved so slowly that I wound up carrying most of the boxes myself. When my items were delivered to my new home, the first item out of the truck was destroyed. The item, a heavy ceramic grill set inside of a wheeled cart, was broken into hundreds of pieces. The crew spent half an hour apologizing, and admitted that they hadn't secured it properly. They then moved the destroyed remnants of the grill onto my front lawn, and started bumbling their way through the remainder of the boxes. Most of the boxes were delivered to the wrong room, since the crew that couldn't speak English also could not read. Several other items were dinged, dented or destroyed during the move (it happens), but nothing matching the value of the grill. At the end of the day, they refused to remove the destroyed grill, and tried to charge me for the time that they spent apologizing. During the claim process, the office manager Annie proved to be as incompetent as her employees. I got so frustrated with her inability to return a phone call or an email that I nearly dropped the claim. Accidents happen, especially when you're moving, but my experience with Xpress Movers was terrible. Save yourself the headache, and use a different company.

I worked with Felipe at Xpress Movers to move a partial truckload from Chicago to New York. He was very good to work with. Felipe communicated with me throughout the process and was flexible with pick-up/delivery. His movers were also very nice and professional. They got the job done quickly. I've already recommended working with him to a friend moving out east. His pricing is fair and they did a great job for me-- on time, took good care of my things, and were flexible with arranging pick-up/delivery.

On June 23rd I entered into agreement with Xpress Movers to perform a move of the contents of a one bedroom 750sqft apartment and motorcycle from framingham,ma to florence, sc. My time frame I gave the moving company was to be in Florence by July 1st however I was informed by the company that my thing would likely be there son after the 4th of july. On July 6th I was notified directly by telephone call from management of the company that my shipment would arrive on July8th. I have driven over 80 miles from Orangeburg, SC to meet the truck at my bare unfurnished apartment in Florence,SC only to find out from the driver of the truck that my items packaged have not even left New England in over 15 days. The driver told me he has just gotten off vacation and that Xpress Movers does not make his shipping schedule, he does. I was told by the driver that my items would be in Florence SC between 10am and 2pm July 9th but at 730am I am told now that he will be here between 10am and 2pm on July 10th. This is in acceptable and the company is now one day out of the projected window that my shipment was designated to be here. Over the course of this move I have called the company office at least 4-5 times speaking with Felipe and other representatives requesting for status updates on my move and the location of the truck. Each time I have been met with a lack of answers and failure for the company to contact me back. When I contacted Felipe on July 8th to express my displeasure with the failed guarantees of the company to deliver when the say they would and that I wanted answers before the end of the business day I was met with again a lack of answers. On July 8th I contacted felipe at around 11am and by 4:30pm after receiving no contact from the company I called back to find out Felipe had left for the day without resolving my complaint. This whole situation has been completely piss poor customer service. This move has cost me a little over $2000.00 which I don't believe you deserve based on this service and lack of communication with the customer. I feel this company needs to partially refund me money or provide me a discount on this move from the quoted price for the headache and aggravation of traveling to Florence not once bit twice to meet a moving truck that hadn't even left New England yet and also for the horrible communication of the management with me. This business is just terrible and you can bet that I will leave many more terrible reviews of the company on as many other consumer information sites as I can to insure other don't have to deal with such an unprofessional company. If I pay you to do a job I expect it to be professionally done in a timely manner and not after you get off a holiday vacation. The 7days from the time you picked up my stuff is more than ample enough time to execute a move from massachusetts to sc. Now it is 16 days since the pickup and that is just unacceptable.

This has got to be the worse moving company possible. First off they delivered only one out of the two trucks to be delivered and most everything was broken. Called about this to the manager and her response was that we were to file a claim. Told her that these items were irreplaceable, She obviously didnt care. We were still waiting for the other truck and their response was that they were not going to deliver it because it was too late in the day. Keep in mind they have only been at our house for 2 hours. We still could not move into our house and had to check into a hotel for couple of nights because we now have to pay more money to have they other truck delivery our items. This is completely unfair and would never recommend them to move even a ant. Our next step for us is calling channel 7 news and hopefully putting and end to this nightmare. The movers even complained about being there too long. Now they hold our things hostage until we pay. I wouldnt even give them 1 star, but had to to warn everyone out there that these people are crooks

Looking for a move across town, look no further than Xpress Movers. It's not often you have a great moving experience, but I can honestly tell you that mine was great. A crew of 5 men showed up right on time. They were clean, friendly and efficient. They worked hard and didn't make a lot of chit chat among themselves. To my surprise, they were done packing the truck within 3 hours and unpacked into my new place much before I had anticipated. The head member of the crew was extremely outgoing, personable, and genuinely was concerned for me and my "stuff". I would go with Xpress Movers again and would also recommend them to friends.

The five star reviews are all fake however all the bad ones are all of the same complaint all over the internet ripping people off... This company has an on going case in US Court the owner is an alleged scam artist please be careful...
