“I didn’t grow up rich or anything. I ended up on Olympus – which, yes, is where my parents [are] from, but they didn’t give me a free ride or anything like that – because I wanted it bad enough.”

This guy should be in jail. He knew what he was doing was hurting people and he did it anyway.

"Internal emails have revealed that the Snyder administration was aware of the crisis the entire time. They switched back to Detroit water in October, but the damage was already done. Snyder waited until this week to declare a state of emergency, but the federal government and the people aren’t having it. The Department of Justice has announced they are beginning an investigation in order to find out how this could have come to pass. A mass movement calling for Snyder’s arrest is underway, spearheaded by liberal filmmaker Michael Moore, who is originally from #Flint" #austerity #environmentalracism #ArrestGovSnyder

I know it's a bit egotistical to think of it as "my style", but I will point out that there weren't a lot of maps being drawn in this style in 2009 when I started posting them to my blog.

So this evening when I wandered into a Pinterest board that looks like a collection of my maps, I had to look twice to be sure there were maps from four different artists represented in this screen shot, and ten artists overall in the pinboard.

The face of D&D cartography has changed in the last six years, and I am pretty confident that I can claim credit for part of the change.

This is a solid analysis. While they occasionally flirt with other PoVs, this underlies their work:
"@canthoupicture: Someone really put into words why so**h p*rk is and continues to be trash"
@Pafiume it also really helps explain why I can find older episodes still enjoyable but every year I'm just "???no??" @ it so hard. Chris · 4h4 hours ago. Chris @canthoupicture. @Pafiume I mean -some- older episodes, some old episodes are just like. misogynistic/racist bs ...

My contribution to the internet.

The first time +Sara McCutcheon saw it, she thought it was funny. So she made the image for me. Then she didn't think it was funny, just insightful.

...I'll take it!

@44 @lukasaoz problem is most people who don't understand privacy also don't think *their* govt could be a bad actor. "We're the good guys!" Cory Benfield. Dec 29. Cory Benfield @Lukasaoz. @dgouldin @44 The reality, I think, is that most people don't believe that bad things can happen to them.

A bit grungy, and possibly not a neighborhood to walk through alone at night if you are the nervous type. Could be kept cleaner, but decent enough seating and escalators up and down.

A bit grungy, like some of the other older stations, but kept clean. Insufficient seating, though. No bathrooms because of "heightened security." My least favorite enclosed station.
