Are there any Fate-oriented podcasts?  Evil Hat too?

At Porcelain Llama Theater, we're playing "Machines of Loving Grace"  (a near-future medical thriller) using Fate Accelerated. It might not be a great example of the system, however, because we rarely ever actually roll the dice.

Is Brian Engard's psychic power rules part of the same CC / OGL license as Fate Core and FAE?  Available to use freely?

I asked Fred about it a while back. You'd need to get Carl's permission for any commercial-type use. Fred was of the view that this likely wouldn't be hard to get, but wasn't claiming to speak on Carl's behalf there.

As heard in the awesome neo-cyberpunk film Elysium.  Very slick.

Settings, Worlds, Rules  -

I see under Zones it definitely says Fate is not a miniatures game-- however maps and miniatures are cool extra toys (in the case of Fate, especially "extra").  I was wondering if anyone had experimented with hacking extension rules for Zones that could enable their (optional) use a little more concretely?  Slight bit more infusion on (accessible, fast) tactics without weighing down the system?

About a decade ago somebody was trying to adapt +Ralph Mazza Universalis RPG to miniatures. Perhaps some of the ideas can be adapted

Has anyone attempted to hack in a Profession-based Skill Tree for Character Progression in Fate Core?  Would that be relatively straightforward to add and would it make sense with the rest of the system generally?

We use something like that in Jadepunk.

2013 was one hell of a year for my indie game studio start-up Astrogun.  A few bumps in the road, a few victories, and a bit of soul searching.  A renewed Astrogun is coming in 2014...

Looking For Group  -

Noob here looking to join a G+ Hangout Group to gain experience with tabeltop & Fate Accelerated.  Maybe a one-shot to start?  I'm usually always down with sci-fi.  I've played maybe three sessions in my life and loved it.  I used to pour over RPG books as a kid for the world-building alone, but have little experience actually playing.  Want to fix that and Fate Accelerated seems like a great place to start!  Let me know!  (Time zone EST / UTC-5)

Funny how something actually gets better when people stop avoiding it (whether they're forced to or not: read, YouTube comments section) and start exploring it's potential :)
