A look back: Twelve Oaks Mall Rejuvenation

"The mall’s owner selected noted retail design expert Neumann/Smith & Associates as the architect of record with renowned mall development partner The Taubman Company taking the lead in construction. The Neumann/Smith design was highlighted by redesigning and updating all the entrances and adding a new luxury wing entrance with a grand glass canopy above the valet area. They chose W&W Glass to engineer and supply the structural glass fin wall entrance and canopy system."

Cutting-edge technology is the best way to describe the Medical Education and Telemedicine Building on the campus of the University of California-San Diego based in La Jolla. The goal set forth in constructing the building was to assimilate the technology into the building to replicate the work being done inside. Coming in at a price of $12 million, the building is highly transparent and permeable, with ground floor connections out to the campus in all four directions...

Working with architectural firm SRA Architecture & Engineering and consultant LaufsED, we installed oversized 23’ tall low-iron IGUs point-supported onto monolithic glass fins to create a custom lobby enclosure for 605 3rd Avenue. Let us know what you think in the comments below!
