This place is AWESOME. Last week my burly boyfriend got into the driver's seat of my 1998 Volvo s70. He went to put on his seatbelt, but in all his man-strength he pulled too hard! My poor baby seatbelt thought it was in an accident and instantly failed. (Thank you, over-engineered Volvo mechanisms.) Anyway, after agonizing days of NOT driving and trying to look up forum fixes, I was faced with the cold hard truth that I needed a replacement part. Called my family's favorite mechanic (in san antonio) and he told me they run 318 buckaroos - 266 on some rando website he found. I said, hmmm how about a salvage yard? I called around a few junk yards in Austin, as I had NEVER been to a junk yard before. The girl I spoke to at Wrench-A-Part was such a doll! She explained exactly what the process was, how everything is ORGANIZED into rows. I spent 7 DOLLARS on a new seatbelt and motor, I felt so empowered that I also found an antenna to replace mine. They even have cold cold waters and gatorades you can buy for one buck. Total damage: 20 bucks for a new seatbelt, a new antenna and motor, and three ice cold drinks! Considering I installed everything myself, I saved not only on parts but also LABOR! So, total savings was close to 1000 dollars. I AM WOMAN, HEAR ME ROAR!
