Fortunately, one of them delighted me all year long. Kartemquin Films, the Chicago film collective that makes ...

Here's something to cheer about: in 2015, 93 cents of every incoming dollar in donations and sponsorship revenue for World T.E.A.M. Sports was applied directly to our inclusive sporting events like Face of America and to providing support for our participating athletes. https://www.facebook.com/worldteamsports/videos/vb.58449097251/10154336537307252/?type=2&theater&notif_t=notify_me_page&notif_id=1484327114643398 #WorldTEAMSports #WeAllRideTheSameRoad

World T.E.A.M. Sports changes lives through athletics. We use sporting activities to challenge disabled and able bodied men, women and children to reach accomplishments thought to be impossible. At World T.E.A.M. Sports, “The Exceptional Athlete Matters.” Every participant in our events is exceptional. Changing Lives through Sports
Introduction
World T.E.A.M. Sports is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization chartered in North Carolina and headquartered in Holbrook, New York. For more than twenty years, World T.E.A.M. Sports has organized all kinds of athletic events for disabled and able bodied citizens – mountain climbing, white water rafting, biking, and more.

Since 1993, we have used athletics to challenge disabled men, women and children to accomplish goals they never thought possible. In all our events – whether mountain climbing, biking, white water rafting or many other sports – we include both disabled and able-bodied participants.

Four things always happen at our events:

• Disabled participants build self confidence and physical fitness.

• The disabled provide a role model for other disabled citizens, encouraging them to take up physical activities.

• The disabled become a moving inspiration to other participants and to spectators when they see that disabled individuals can meet challenges beyond anyone’s imagination.

• The disabled and able-bodied participants learn to work as a team to overcome those challenges.

We change lives through sports.
