Looking forward to a summer of snooker locally, at Elite Snooker club we have a 4 man team event group knockout, played on wednesday nights with 4 match tables in use so plenty of action there.
then we have the Budgie Masters singles event over at Hendry's Snooker club in preston played on sunday evenings. There we have 8 groups of 4 played so that top 2 in each group go through to last 16, eventually played down to a winner and the last 2 in each group going into the plate comp.
I am entered in both events so no lack of match practice for me during the summer!

OK, so we made the finals of the Preston & District Snooker League 6 Man team handicap knockout, this is my 3rd final in 4 years for 2 different teams so the competition has been good to me haha, apart from the fact that in each semi final I have got totally anihilated. Last night was no exception, I only had 4 shots at balls I could pot hahah

Well done to my mate Craig Millward winning the Budgie Open Individual final last night beating Ben Messant 5-0 and taking the high break prize money.

Which tip shape do you prefer?....most important bit of cue so it has to be right, my preference is a 2mm side wall with the 5p top, you?

so I got my Mike Wooldridge cue back today all fixed free of charge...yippee
Mike fitted my cue with his new prototype tip, I have asked him what it is and await his reply. At first glance and touch it seems to take the chalk easily so can't wait to play with it possible tomorrow, but defo on sunday.

just wondered what cue you guys play with, so i uploaded a few images of my Mike Wooldridge MW03, craftsmanship of the highest order....look at the beautiful black detailing in the end of the cue for the precision engineered mini butt to simply slot on, it works wonderfully too one handed operation.
The cue itself is 58", 18oz, 9.5mm talisman soft tip, 2 single facing splices on the front, tiger maple and ebony, it really is the best cue i have had in my hands ever.
