We purchased a vehicle from Woody's in July. The car we had originally seen online had quite a few dings and didn't look near as impressive as it did in the pictures. That black and white floor they take the pictures of the cars on really camouflages small dents. Our sales man was very nice and was not pushy with us. He helped us find another car of the same make and model and we test drove it. It also had a pretty significant scratch on the hatch door so when we got to the purchase stage, we tried to get them to pay for the repair of that scratch. They gave us an extremely low offer on our car because it had an accident report on it from somewhere down the line, but there was no obvious damage. This car had damage and they wouldn't come down on the price. They finally gave us $400 more against our trade, but we've since had the car repaired and it cost us $1200. The purchasing process didn't seem any different to me than any other car dealership. They make low offers and you counter offer until you finally reach a deal. Stating that they already have the lowest price on the car is just another way of saying that they aren't going to deal with you on that price. Then, it took me almost a month and several phone calls to get the title sent to me. After that, I made a wasted trip to the DMV because the title was out of state so the car needed to be inspected. I called Woody's again and was told that it was their responsibility to have it inspected and they'd send me $12 to pay for the inspection, but a month later, they haven't sent anything. If you call for help regarding titles, etc.. try to get someone other than Ian. He is very hard to understand and he doesn't follow through. I was not impressed with Woody's and will not return there.

Like most people I know, we would rather go to the dentist than to go car buying. Well, the people at Woody's Automotive Group really work to change that experience. It was absolutely no hassle to buy my new truck. I found Woody's via the Internet. I scheduled an appointment to meet Jeff Staton on Saturday. I let Jeff know what I was looking for. Jeff had three trucks lined up for me to test drive. At the end of the test drives I let Jeff know which one I was interested in. He showed me the invoice price and what rebates were available and then we talked about my trade-in. We went one round negotiating the price - we started off very close. Then we had a deal. Absolutely no hassles and no pressure. The only other time I have experienced this type of treatment at an auto dealer was at a Mercedes dealer in Florida. I highly recommend Woody's to anyone who would like to change their car buying experience from miserable to pleasurable. They are definitely worth driving a couple of hours to get there and make a deal.

Wow Woody's, really?? 20+ photos on Autotrader, long wordy description, yet no mention or evidence of hail damage, cracked windshield, or significant rust under the doors. Even a call ahead to confirm the condition of the vehicle could not save us from a 3 hour wasted drive and a half tank of gas. The Jeep was complete junk, and no where near the condition reflected in the price. This outfit claims they service the Kansas City area, but don't waste the drive. You'll certainly pass hundreds of more reputable dealers along the way. And Mr. Dillon, since you had no explanation for your company's dishonest tactics today, there is no need for one of your lackies to respond in this forum.

I would recommend Woody's to anyone. They always treat me and my wife with great respect. Any time my wife takes a vehicle in for service they take good care of her and take her to work or give her a vehicle to go where ever she needs to go. And they always call and ask us about what they are doing to get our permission before they do anything. What great service from purchasing a vehicle to having it serviced what a great place to be Go Woody's. WOW Woody's

I found the car I was planing to buy listed online through this dealership. It was a great price for the year and milage. However, I learned in order to get that price you had to finance through the dealer as well as trade your vehicle to them. If you didn't do those 2 things they added 1200 dollars to the car. The value of the car was slightly below the new asking price but I figured it would be worth a drive. I arrived to drive the car. On my way up they informed me there was a dent in the hood and a scratch in the side (this is the ONLY reason I am not giving this place a 1 star review. That was respectable) However, when I sat in the car there was a STRONG smell of urine. The key fob was also smashed and taped back together and the radio had some issues. I figured with all of those things, they would either offer to repair the problems or at least come down 500 or so dollars on the car so I could have it professionally cleaned. I was very shocked to find that they were unwilling to budge on the price of the car, despite the flaws. Not only were they unwilling to budge but they refused to fix the problems. The manager (I think) told me he would spray some cleaner on the seats to try and take care of the smell. They also seemed uninterested in answering mechanical questions I had regarding the condition of the car, engine, timing belt, etc. Needless to say I did not purchase this car. I would NOT purchase a car from this lot. They are friendly upfront but unwilling to work with you at all. It is actually a good cop bad cop set up. Sales is nice, the management is stone cold. Don't waste your time.

Not only did they have the truck I wanted at a very fair price, they had another that I liked even better for just a few dollars more! I got way more truck than I ever thought possible and got a fair price for my trade-in. Cory was very easy to work with and although he was very busy, never made us feel like we were forgotten. He was quick to get us keys so we could start test driving and never pressured us. This is by far the nicest truck I have ever owned and I absolutely love driving it! Thanks, Cory! And thanks Wow Woody's!!

I was looking for a car for my 16 year old son. I noticed a cute little red car on the lot - a 2014 Ford Fiesta. It was priced at $8000 and came from a fleet rental at auction. About a week later, I took my car in for service and they let me drive the Fiesta until me car was out of service. They had to jump start the Fiesta to get it running. I got in and noticed that the check engine light and monkey wrench light was on. I asked the lady if it was okay to drive. She said yes. I drove away but ended up doing a U-turn back to the dealership. I told her that I was afraid of breaking down but she said if it happens then they would tow in back no charge. I figured what the heck because I was only keeping it for a few hours. I drove away again and didn't make it a mile before the digital screen flashed "Transmission Failure. Service Now". I did another U-turn back to the dealership. On my way, I had to go up an incline and the car seemed to have trouble - it felt like the transmission was slipping. I made it back to the dealership, handed her the keys back, and sat in the waiting room until my car was done. They offered me another car but I felt safer sitting and waiting. I'm so glad that I didn't buy that car the first day that I saw it. Fate intervened. Living in Chillicoth, MO is one comical disaster after another. People saw my post and I got the following emails from them: 1.Hello Lucy I seen your post about if people have had problems with woodys....we took our 2016 challenger there because it wouldn't come out of "limp" mode...they said it was a bent rod on cylinder 7....after a week and a half we finally got it back then the same day the check engine light came on....so we took it back to the dealer where we got it and it had a bad o2 sensor....but now it's back at woodys again getting body work done because they put 6 gouges in the front body panel while they were working on the engine... 2. Hey I seen your comment bout woody. Well it wouldn't let me comment on it. But anyways I got my car there in 2014 and after a week I got my car, my gas gauge broke and they wouldn't fixed it for me because I didn't have any warranty or anything!!! So I have been telling people not to go there because they will rip u off. They don't care!!!!!#

I made the trip up to their location from Quincy IL, and it was completely worth making the trip. This was my first ever car purchase. I got a used 2015 Ford Escape with less than 6000 miles and saved thousands compared to anything else I saw, close to me or not. Sales staff was easy to work with and made the whole experience quick and easy. I highly recommend them. -Bill
