I saw the reviews online but I knew someone who lived here that had nothing but good things to say. I am currently still living here under contract but if I can help someone else from going through the same thing I will try. Issues will arise almost anywhere. A sign of good customer service is how they go about resolving. You will not get quality repairs. You will not get timely repairs. You will never ever be compensated for your inconvenience. I have been renting for 13 years but this is the worst experience. The day I moved in, the "door" in my ceiling that leads to the roof of the building was missing, leaving my unit exposed to whatever lives in the roof, as well as fiberglass for 3 days. Neither of the bedroom doors could close completely due to cracks in the wood. The water was turned off for the bathtub and the sink for 3 days. The shower door couldn't open/ close. The patio was filthy and the screen door to the patio was laying on the ground. BECAUSE MAINTENANCE DOES NOT WORK ON THE WEEKENDS, AND I MOVED IN ON A WEEKEND, I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL MONDAY TO GET SOME OF THESE THINGS RESOLVED. This is only a few of the issues by the way. Also, this is the 'renovated' unit. I have had a "leak" coming from my shower into the downstairs unit's bathroom from February up until now (August 2014). Literally, I have video of it raining in my downstairs neighbor's bathroom b/c I turned on the shower. It took for me to send this video to the property manager for them to take his complaints seriously and start looking into a better resolution then just grouting my tiles. They have made several "repairs" (which leave me without a shower each time) but the issue still has not been resolved. As a result there is a serious mold issue that they just patch over (As an asthmatic this is a huge problem for me). Recently, a contractor who rebuilt part of the shower structure said that it had been going on for years. Also, imagine water sitting in the wooden structure of the building for years (my floor/ his ceiling) and the structural damage that causes. I am happy each day the floor doesn't cave in! I was told this last time I would be without a shower Tuesday and Wednesday but I would have a shower to use once I got home Wednesday evening. Today is Saturday and I still do not have a shower. The windows are not sealed so your energy bills will be high and you may get the occasional bee or wasp showing up inside your windowsill. Months ago, I put in a maintenance request and nothing was done. I asked Maintenance to seal my windows in plastic 2 weeks ago, he hasn't been back yet. The HVAC unit is over 30 years old (which probably also adds to the high energy bill) so it loudly rattles and as a result the wires may slip leaving you without air conditioning. 24 Hour maintenance is confusing as I have had 24 hour maintenance issues that weren't resolved until the end of the next business day and only after I called to follow up with the leasing office. The previous time maintenance came to fix my HVAC, They broke the door to the HVAC closet and replaced it days later with a substandard door. Don't have a need for maintenance to snake/ plunge your toilet... they will leave their old filthy plunger in your bath tub. There is a lack of communication between maintenance and the leasing office b/c the leasing office doesn't have record of all of the times maintenance has been in my unit to fix issues (and I am absolutely not one of those people that flag a maintenance person down). Ultimately, The leasing staff, though polite, aren't going to take any ownership of the problems here AND THAT is what makes for a horrible living experience.

" I WOULDN'T MOVE HERE IT ISN'T WORTH THE MONEY" AND IT'S NOT SAFE AT ALL FOR CHILDREN OR ADULTS THEY RENT TO SEX OFFENDERS AND YOU WILL FIND THAT OUT WHEN YOU SIGN YOUR LEASE I DIDN'T KNOW THAT BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE THE GABLES OWNED THE COMPLEX AND THEY TOOK OVER I JUST RENEWED MY LEASE A MONTH AGO AND I REGRET IT. THEY HAVE HAD THEFT THERE HAS BEEN CARS STOLEN AND JUST TWO WEEKS AGO AND TIRE AND RIMS STOLEN JUST 2 WEEKS AGO SOMEONE HAD THEIR CAR WINDOW BROKEN OUT AND THINGS STOLEN OUT OF THE TRUCK. THEY ARE BEING TAKEN OVER BY MOTHS HUNDREDS OF THEM YOU CAN'T EVEN LEAVE OUT OF YOUR APARTMENTS BECAUSE YOU WILL BE ATTACKED BY HUNDREDS OF BUGS. THEY WON'T SPRAY FOR THE MOTHS OR ROACHES AND THEY HAVE HAD DEAD RATS IN THE POOL THE SIZE OF CATS AND THEY HAVEN'T CLEANED IT THEY USED A NET AND THEY TOOK THE RAT OUT I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE BLEED IN THE POOL AND YET THE POOL HASN'T BEEN CLEANED ALL OF THIS HAS HAPPENED IN THE PAST 2 AND A HALF WEEKS JOHANNA AND CHRISTINA DON'T CARE BECAUSE THEY DON'T HAVE TO LIVE HERE THEY ARE RUDE AND I FEEL THAT THEY DON'T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO RUN AN APARTMENT COMPLEX I THINK THAT A DOG WOULD RUN IT BETTER. THEY HAVE BEEN KICKING IN DOORS AND STEALING OUT OF APARTMENTS AND SHE THE MANAGERS JOHANNA AND CHRISTINA HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING TO HELP US FEEL SAFE IN THIS FILTHY PLACE DONT LET THE OUTSIDE FOOL YOU THE WORKERS WON'T FIX ANYTHING YOU PUT IN WORK ORDERS AND YOU CALL THEM ALL DAY AND THEY WILL NEVER SHOW UP. THEY ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH MOLD AND MILDEW AND THEY WON'T TAKE CARE OF IT AT ALL SO IF SOMETHING BREAKS PLEASE BE PREPARED TO FIX IT YOURSELF BECAUSE MANAGEMENT WON'T MAKE THEM DO THEIR JOBS WE PAY ALOT OF MONEY TO LIVE HERE BUT THIS PLACE ISN'T WORTH $100.00 PLEASE TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.

The worst management ever. I always paid my rent on time and never had complaints against me. My car was stolen from the parking lot. I walked into the office where some employees were talking with their back to the door. I asked if they had called to have any cars towed. They said no. I then told them that my car had been stolen. One of them, a large latin woman, looked over her shoulder and said "you should probably call the police" and turned back around and continued in the conversation. No apology, no concern for the tenant's belongings. The apartment above mine was leaking waste water from the bathtub. They "attempted" to fix it at least 6 times over 9 months time and they never succeeded. There was mold all over the walls because of the moisture. When I asked to be moved into another unit (same floorplan, just one without leaks) they told me that it would cost me more. Once again, no care for the tenant, no attempt to provide a safe environment or customer service. With a month and a half left in the lease (my rent paid up at the time) I came home to find that my key didn't work; the locks had been changed. I had moved most of my stuff into my girlfriend's apartment, but still needed to make sure I had everything and that the place was clean. I went to the office to speak to Joanna (Property Manager) and was told that she wasn't there and they refused me access to the apartment. I was told I would be contacted as soon as possible, but never got that phone call. The pictures on their website are a misrepresentation of the actual condition of the facilities and units. There are no gates. "Hoodlums" roam the parking lots and street through all hours of the night. The pool is dirty. After management went home at 6pm, it was like a Zoo. Loud music by the pool and from apartments. If you value safety, good management/maintenance and fair treatment, look elsewhere. This place is a slum.

I'm about to move out because my job is transferring me to North Carolina. I liked living here for the past year and a half and never had any problems. Just a problem with my dishwasher which they fixed soon after I called. Nothing else to mention but the staff is nice and I like the area.
