THE WOMAN’S CLUB OF RIDGEWOOD
HOLIDAY HOUSE TOUR, NOVEMBER 30, 2017
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. - The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood will hold its Holiday House Tour on Thursday, November 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The tour, which is a charity event, will feature unique homes located in Ridgewood and the surrounding communities, dressed up for the winter holidays.
The House Tour is the largest fundraiser hosted by the Woman’s Club of Ridgewood, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the community. The House Tour typically draws 400 - 800 attendees, and raises funds for charities serving women and children. Last year the Club awarded grants to 18 local charities including the Social Service Association of Ridgewood, SHARE, Camp Sunshine, Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Sharing the Arts, and the YMCA Rainbows Program. This year’s Tour is sponsored by Janis Fuhrman of Terrie O’Connor Realtors.
House Tour tickets are $40 and can be purchased on the club’s website, www.ridgewoodwomansclub.com. Tickets may also be purchased at these locations on or after November 1st: The Woman’s Clubhouse, Mango Jam, Town & Country Apothecary, Backyard Living and Goffle Brook Farm. During February, the Club held a successful Garage which raised funds for Emergency Fund; provided the annual Valentine's Day dinner, organized by Community Service Chair Elizabeth, for local shelter for domestic violence victims, and learned about Ridgewood history at the Club Day from the presentation given by Ridgewood Historical Society.

The annual holiday concert and luncheon was held on December 9th attended by over 100 guests from Ridgewood and nearby town. Kristen Plumley and friends gave a wonderous performance of holiday songs and music pieces, while raising funds for Sharing the Arts, and collected holiday gift wrap for Social Services Association of Ridgewood. Club Day chair Jean Reda again shared her talent and put together a great Luncheon of festive food and decorations.

The Woman’s Club of Ridgewood presents a holiday lunchtime concert, open to the public, featuring soprano Kristen Plumley and friends on Friday, December 9th at 12:45 pm. Lunch is at noon and is $30 for non-members, payable at the door. Please RSVP to 201-444-5705 by December 2nd. Come at 12:30 for dessert and concert only, $10 payable at the door, no RSVP required.
