Today, 20 oct, was the second day of Latinoware with a more pleasant temperature around 25 degrees due to the absence of sun.
We are visited on our stand by a teacher of high school, interested in adopting Fedora Scientific Spin KDE as a platform to manage and encourage computer use in school computer lab. In addition we having a pleasant conversation with another woman about using Stoq, business management software for managing a small business.
To my surprise and instant happiness a Fedora user who visited our stand today, reported to have begun to use our Linux distribution after being present in my first lecture officially by the Fedora in 2008 at UDESC - State University of Santa Catarina in city of São Bento do Sul when I was only 16 years old.
In the rest of my afternoon helped a Fedora 64-bit Workstation installation on a notebook, demonstrated touch support in Gnome 3.2 and helped a future Paraguayan user to decide to have KDE as your Fedora desktop.

Yesterday, oct 15, was the final day of Latam conference at Puno in Peru, where we are higher 3800 meters above sea level. As it was a Saturday many people came to the event a little later than the day before.
At 10am was my lecture on Why contribute to free software, where I share my personal and professional growth contributing for over 8 years to Fedora Project. Somebody in the audience asked how to contribute to Fedora, then explain to everyone that we have many projects will depend on the skills you have.
When I was coming down the stairs, a person came to me to help her identify what would be the best team to participate in Fedora, recommended the infraestrura team. And one more time, I gave to two different persons a quick mentoring how to join Fedora Design team.
Athos, another brazilian speaker, gave a talk about Free Software licenses in Portuguese and I for the first time in my life, made a real time translation to Spanish.
Around 6pm, a rainy evening, was the closing ceremony of FUDCon Latam Puno 2016. There were several pictures, beautiful speeches of thanks and all speakers received handicrafts of the local culture  with their names engraved from organizers.
But the biggest surprise of the day was a special presentation of three typical Peruvian dances at the entrance of our hostel.
Today to complete the celebration, the FUDPub will be a barbecue packed at lunch time.
