That's just flat-out bad driving. If you don't know what your car will do when you start to push it, you should save it for a safe place, rather than screwing up in public.

I think that what happened was that he lifted off the throttle at the last minute, weight shifted forward, and the back end slid out. Even the mighty Miata, with 135hp, will do that kinda thing on a wet road with an inexperienced driver.
He might have been fine if he hadn't tried to steer out of the skid. It's especially funny since it's on a completely dry road. If I were one of the two cars he hit my first thought would have been, "Jackpot!" Fools and their money, right?
