Catching fish over the limit can be costly, but $24,000 in fines for too many bluegills? What do you all think of this?
73-year-old Stanley Paalksnis from Onalaska, Wisc. could potentially have to pay a $24,682 fine for keeping too many bluegills while fishing on Lake Onalaska and the Mississippi River.

We like seeing crazy big bass eat topwater frogs. How about you? If so you might want to check this 10-pounder being caught. John Crews sent us this one from one of his Missile Baits Bomb Squad fellas. Check out Robert's big bass and his "dock flip" of a reportedly 10-pound bass.

Won a little derby two weeks ago and a few thousand dollars, but learned some important lessons on making decisions when fishing.
A recent tournament win lead me to analyze with my partner, FLW Tour pro Terry Bolton, what the keys were to catching a 25.75-pound bag of bass on that day. The conclusion was it all centered around decision making on the water, and fishing the conditions that day. So I...

Do you need some help disassembling, cleaning and re-lubricating your bait casters? We had several folks ask us to do a walk through with "newer" bait casters so we obliged in this video. It's long but we took time to sort of explain how all the inner workings of the reel fit together in case you had some issues with putting it back together. Also if you're unsure how the pieces go back in, we offer two words in this video: Camera Phone! Check it out. We're working on one for spinning reels.

Brandon Palaniuk talks about fishing crankbaits in cold water. Interesting how he points out that a Wiggle Wart goes against the norm that you have to #fish flat sided baits more in cold water. #fishing   #bassfishing   #wired2fish

As the fall shad migration reaches full-swing in many parts of the country, fishing with soft jerkbaits is an outstanding way to quickly locate quality bass. When the bass aren’t responding to noisy reaction baits, a more subtle approach can lead to an exciting day on the...

In this short video, Bassmaster Classic champ and Elite Series pro Kevin VanDam talks about when he likes to use flat-sided crankbaits and gets interrupted for a minute while talking about it.
