We have stayed here several times, and enjoy the cozy rooms that are all different. Jennifer does a great job at the front desk-- lots of personality. I'm sure we will be back.

Had an excellent time. Great accommodations. Good breakfast and good wine and cheese in the evening. Pet friendly. Good location. Within walking distance. We didn't drive anywhere. Very friendly staff. Corina even helped us jump start our car so we didn't have to wait with our 3 month old for a jump. Will stay again. Maybe we will try cottages next time... But
The lofts were pretty neat!

We spent the night there August 26, 2014. I loved the location of the Inn, the look and setup. The room was a standard room with a King bed. The package I got came with a tasting and bottle of wine from a local Winery- Great winery and great deal. The room was nice, clean, big enough. The bed was nice and also the layout. It was a cozy room and charming look to it and also the Inn. The problem we had, was that the room had an adjoining door to the room behind it and we could hear everything the people in there were doing, even brushing their teeth! And other things you can imagine. The walls are paper thin. They were up late talking, sounded like yelling because we could hear everything. Did not rest that night! Real shame, it looked like a place I've might have stayed again.

Your staff was pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the wine bar and fireplace in the salon in the late afternoon. The complimentary breakfast was well presented and tasty. The fireplace in our room didn't have the required upper flu handle, so we couldn't use it. No big deal - but a detail. Our room felt a little too tucked away - no sense of view or anything outside the window. A bit disappointing, given the picturesque nature of the town - and the Inn itself, with its delightful garden. Nonetheless, I would heartily recommend your Inn.

I gave this place 4 stars but I would like to say that it is really very wonderful. The room is simple and unimpressive, but very nice still. The free breakfast in the morning was very nice, it was a beautiful all you can eat spread with an attentive and diligent waitress. For a free breakfast and a room at about 150 it really wasn't bad at all. It doesn't compare to a lot of nicer hotels but it isn't trying to, it is a quieter hotel at the level of a simple Marriott or Residence Inn, but with very friendly staff, a beautiful executed Danish theme and affordable price. My wife and I will definitely stay here again our next time in Solvang!

We had a good stay. The hotel was good, staff were personable. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and tidy. The bed and the pillows were kind of okay, not very great. I like firm beds, this was more plush. Also the internet was pretty bad. Hopefully they fix it. Overall we had a nice time. Will probably stay here again when we come back to Solvang.

I would go back again. The room was fine and the breakfast was good. I agree with the review about switching out the breakfast items. Also during peak breakfast periods they need to have staff always standing by to clean up tables. We bussed our own both days to accommodate waiting families. The staff member assigned to the room also had to replenish dishes and was not always in the room. Biggest item for improvement: Check In!! I arrived at 1:30, was told that the room cleaning report was not in and to come back closer to 3. I took a walk in town and came back at 2:30, still no report, no checkin. When I arrived back after 3 there was a line of at least 10 people waiting to check in. Some got rooms, other got "no report". There has to be a way for the cleaning crew to communicate when each room is available and not report them as a group. I have NEVER waited in such a line in all my days of travelling.

We had a nice stay at the Wine Valley Inn. The location was perfect in that it was in the heart of Solvang. It was a quaint and cute building and there was a daily breakfast. The only thing I would mix up a bit is having different items at the breakfast daily..Example switch out sausage for bacon every other day. I would stay here again. The staff was friendly. I would prefer a more firm bed, but overall great stay!

I loved my stay at Wine Valley Inn and Cottages. The room was very clean and the fireplace was a beautiful touch. The entire facility is very family oriented and my fiancé and I had a great time celebrating our anniversary. The only negative I would give the facility is that the walls are very thin. Early in the morning around 7am we were woken up by the sound of children running and yelling outside of the apartment. Its a small thing, but thats the reason i rated it a 4 instead of a 5.

We stayed at one of the duplex cottages. It was beautiful. It carried the same sense of style from the exterior. The little courtyard among the cottages was beautiful at night. There were a ton of light switches but that just allowed us to tailor the lighting. Kitchen was fully equipped and the wood shutters kept the place private at night and dark even though there is sunlight outside for when we want to sleep a few extra hours.
