I am a m7 owner. I really wanted to love this phone, but the more I look at reviews the more disappointed I am. My main problem with this device is it's camera. As a bio major, the camera in a smartphone is a very useful utility to me as I am able to take pictures of dissections and slides for use to study later. The m7 does a sub par job and the m9 has weird noise even with its updated software. All of the photos and reviews of the s6 have been outstanding. The worst part of the m9 is that even with a lower resolution screen, I've seen its battery life match with the s6. Plus the s6 comes with a fast charger and the m9 does not. If I am studying in the library during the day, the s6 will be fully charged by the time of my next class. The m7 and m8 were the best of their class, but I am not going to shell out $650 for a less useful product than the s6. Plus the s6 comes with 64gb of cloud storage. I can easily store my photos and study materials on there (college usually has free WiFi). I completely agree with not changing the design, it is perfect. But again, not shelling out so much for a lackluster camera when I need it the most. The m9 camera pales with the iPhone's. That's not the quality I'm expecting from HTC. It's time for me to move on till they make the industry standard again.
