We booked a "suite" last minute. There was no fridge first of all. In a suite?? Also there was a nasty stain in the tub that looked like baked on vomit. Awesome. There were three of us and we all needed to take a shower. The tub wouldn't drain so we all got to hang out in each other's filth. When we called this to the attendants attention the next morning she asked us why we didn't let them know sooner...like while we were in the shower...? Needless to say we will never stay at a Hilton again and we highly recommend you don't either!! Janky. Janky. Janky.

Room was nice but no refrigerator in room only down side. Nice to have the restaurants in the hotel and a decent walk to all the downtown shops

Garbage. No refrigerator in the room. Trash under the beds. Light fixture falling off in bathroom. Lamp shade broken making it a fire hazard in room. Paying for parking in a parking lot full of people that aren't even staying here. For the price we pay to stay at a Hilton, I expect a lot more. I have had better stays at super 8s and microtels. Never coming here again, and probably not ever staying at another Hilton.

We recently had the opportunity to stay at this location for a conference and combined family vacation. It was not our first time at this location, and the quality had certainly degraded in the last couple of years. Our problems began immediately after check-in, with a room that was hot, and air conditioning that was obviously not working adequately. The entire South wing of the hotel was noticeably warmer than the rest of the building. We called the front desk to complain and were told that they had problems with the building on the previous day that had been repaired during the night. After turning down the thermostat and waiting another hour we called again and were told maintenance staff would come up to check the unit. The "solution" for the maintenance man was to remove the air filter from our unit. He said it would "cool better that way" and we should notice a change shortly. After another hour with no change in the heat, we called the front desk and they offered to move us to another room. FOUR ROOMS LATER, we finally got to unpack our clothes again. Fortunately, we insisted on checking the rooms before we moved and unpacked again. The first one we checked was just as hot as the first, and the air conditioner made a horrible rattling noise. The 2nd room we were given a key card to check had a person sitting in the room! We couldn't even get the door unlocked on the 3rd room. The manager finally got involved and personally took us to the 4th room in the North tower, which was finally cool. So, 2 hours later, and after many trips to the front desk, we finally got to unpack again. The manager's concession was to ultimately reduce our rate for the first two nights of our week-long stay. The young lady at the front desk didn't seem to know how to handle the problem after a couple of trips up and down to the desk. Everything about the location pointed to poor management, from the lack of furniture and towels at the pool, to the lack of adequate staff at the restaurant. This was a disappointing departure from previous visits a couple of years ago.

1. Rooms are filthy. Carpets stains, dirty hallways and woodwork. 2. Had to move from connecting room at 11:00 because people next to us were so loud 3. Fire alarm went off next afternoon while we were napping. Announcement made that they "thought" everything was ok, and to stay in our rooms. 4. Second room's shower pan was improperly installed. Had to shower standing in a puddle. 5. Elevator grab bars hanging by a thread ready to fall off. 6. Elevator rides: Like each would be your last! Bumpy, uneven, rough on stopping. 7.Parking is quite a hike unless you pay for valet. 8. Any good review of this place is almost surely from an employee. 9.Not surprisingly was not asked about our stay as we checked out. 10. Can't believe I allowed these people to charge me for this.

Recently stayed two nights and utilized the meeting space for a business visit for 80 community leaders. While my room was wonderful - with a view of the river & USS Battleship NC; we experienced some unexpected noise from intoxicated guests around 5 pm one evening. As for the conference meeting space, it was unusual for our plated meal on Friday night to not allow alcoholic beverages from our own hospitality suite - maybe it was in the event organizers contract??. This is my second business stay in the past couple of years, with only my first experience of actually having meetings on the property. The wi-fi connection was poor in the business meeting areas...unsure if there is a password that can be released for attendees?
