Why doesn't Putin invite the rebels to live in Russia? Always believed he has Napoleonic aspirations. Putin seems desperate to reassemble the old Soviet Union.

Is this the strangest tribute album of all time? Dylan singing relatively obscure Sinatra songs over a pedal steel back-up? Weirdest of all? It’s pretty compelling.

Bob Dylan Gives New Album to AARP Members

Fifty thousand copies of Bob Dylan's new album Shadows in the Night are being given to subscribers to AARP's magazine.

Dylan's only interview about the album also will be published in the issue. "Bob decided he wanted to talk to older Americans, and he came to the only place where we deliver 35.2 million of them," said editor in chief Robert Love.

"I am a fairly jaded consumer of the news, and I have seen a lot that has made me thoroughly aware of the “evil that lurks” in man’s souls and actions. But even with that, I was taken aback by the way ISIS burned a man alive yesterday."

Obama couldn’t get to Paris, but somehow he managed a late schedule change to go see the new Saudi king. Can this ever change? Not likely.
