Support @PennVet & @PennCancer in fighting ovarian cancer. Dogs trained to "sniff out" cancer early can save lives.
The Penn Vet Working Dog Center, Penn Medicine\'s Division of Gynecologic Oncology, and the Monell Chemical Senses Center have collaborated to study the odors emanating from ovarian tissue to provide a reliable, detectable substrate for the early detection of ovarian cancer. This project utilizes the ability of canine and other sensors to detect the unique signature of serum samples from ovarian cancer patients versus controlled patients.
Putting an ovarian cancer warning on talcum powder "Not for use near genital areas" would save even more lives. Johnson and Johnson won't let that happen anytime soon, they'd be on the hook for astronomical damages since they've had evidence of the link for quite a while. Try cornstarch ladies, it might not kill you as fast.
