The place is small and unpretentious. It was my first visit and even though it was a couple of tables empty we have to wait almost ten minutes because they weren't clean and with the 3 of 5 tables busy I really didn't knew why it took them so long to clean one table and get us sit. Certainly the service was all over the place. That's been said, when it came out to the food it was really good. I ordered the Keanang Pineapple Curry and it was on point simply delicious. The chicken soup I was told it was good as well. The crab rangoon were little but more than the orders on other restaurants. They were good too. I will come again and if the service improve in my next visit, I can be a regular in the future. It will depend of the next service.

I went with my friend and her daughter and we weren't able first because the five tables were full and second because we got food for the girl from other place. Due to "business policy" food from outside weren't allowed even though we were going to spend for two adults. We gladly left and spend out dollars somewhere else. Not able to try the food, but everything starts with a good service and no matter how good the food would be I wouldn't come back to this place. Not recommended! 👎

Being in NY for the holidays I was looking to try something I hadn't yet so I Yelped and found this place. I read the reviews and decided to give it a chance. I was looking to try this due to not been tried Portuguese food until that moment. The place is unassuming and is visited mostly fit for the locals and the name can be disguising "Barbecue". I had a really gratifying surprise with my decision. The place didn't disappointe at all. Everything in the place was awesome! From the chorizo and the clams to the sopa galega to the Mariscada and Paella Valenciana everything was on point. Now I am sold on Portuguese food like I am with the Spanish food (similar, but not the same).

Being Puerto Rican, mofongo is one of our staple plates. Dominicans adopted and I was told improved. I went to this place in the heart of the Dominican community to see or I should say taste by myself and boy, it really give us a run for our money. One of the best I tried even in PR. Their mofongo de mariscos is not "relleno" like in PR, but more like on top of it, but is plenty of Mariscos featuring some we don't even use in ours like mejillones "mussels", and pieces of cangrejo "crab". My veredict is: why you don't try both versions and make your decision. At the end of the day, you will be the only winner. If you're around atop by, you won't be disappointed.

Great bar, for those one that appreciate hard liquor. I am more a beer kind of guy and their offering in beer is limited to just three: Heineken, Corona and their own beer (which wasn't available at the moment due to malfunction of the tap). It's not a big room so space can be challenging if gets crowed like last night to see UFC event. The customer service was excellent and the crowd was really nice too. No drama or attitudes here. The kitchen was closed by 9 PM which was a boomer. Overall, if you appreciate a good whisky and or vodka this is the place for you if you are looking not for a hard liquor probably you'll be better off somewhere else. The drinks runs about $13 to $15 which is more than most bars back in Chicago.
