+Jiahua Chen To what are you referring?  It is simply a recommendation from one developer to another about a free utility that I happen to find useful.  I am in no way affiliated with f.lux, so relax.

Hi Gophers,

Thursday is fast approaching so please do your best to clear your schedule for the Go-Miami Thursday night meetup.

The first talk is about Cross-Compiling and setting up your development environment to make that happen. We will be using this blog post as a reference for the talk:
http://www.goinggo.net/2013/10/cross-compile-your-go-programs.html

The second talk is about building and running programs to run in Iron.IO IronWorker. We will be using this post and sample app as a reference for the talk:
http://www.goinggo.net/2013/09/running-go-programs-in-ironworker.html

Remember we are in our new place, the Miami Innovation Center. They are graciously sponsoring the space, parking and snacks. Make sure you thank them when you arrive.

Hope to see everyone on Thursday.
Bill

I am the managing partner at Ardan Studios in Miami, FL and the author of GoingGo.Net. Ardan Studios is a Mobile and Web App Development company. I spent my first 10 years as a professional developer writing C/C++ for the healthcare and call center industries on the Microsoft stack. Then in 2003 I switched to C#, developing those same back end systems for the call center, gaming and financial industries. I looked for a new language that would allow me to develop back end systems in Linux and found Go. I have never looked back.
