Fantastic meal, a real treat! The nights special was chicken in a port demiglace. The meat was cooked perfectly, the sauce had great body and color, grilled asparagus cooked perfectly crisp, and the wild rice lightly nutty and perfumy. With a nice glass of bourbon, this was one of the best meals i have had in a long time. WELL DONE!

The portion for the lamb shanks was pretty small for spending 24$ on on plate of food. These people in Salem Oregon don't make enough to justify this, why would the cook or manager short change people like this?

EXCELLENT! This will now become a Friday night tradition with my girlfriend. All you can eat Dungeness crab. Yes, I said DUNGENESS crab. Not the cheap, scrawny, over cooked, salty snow crab that you get at your local Asian buffet. This Dungeness is actually steamed instead of boiled, with just the perfect amount of seasoning. The shells break with a nice cracking sound, and very little effort (I didn't even need a crab cracker) The staff and service was the icing on the cake. Before I could order another plate, there was another on its way out to our table. Looking forward to next Friday!

I had the ahi tuna to start with and it was probably the best ahi tuna I've ever had! The slices were thick, and it was enough to be a main course rather than a starter. It came with wakame salad which was also excellent, wasabi sauce and pickled ginger. For the main course (or entree as the Americans call it) I had today's special: scallops with ginger sauce, match stick potatoes and bok choi. The scallops were not optimal quality, rather small, but very well cooked and extremely flavoursome! I also had a Cosmopolitan which was very good and very generous in size. I had a glass of house Chardonnay with my main course - didn't care much for the wine, a bit non-descriptive - didn't bother finishing it. The service was excellent and, above all, I DID NOT FEEL RUSHED! Such a relief not to be treated as if you are in a food factory! I thoroughly enjoyed this place for the quality of food and service!

We were sat down and handed menus and that is all of the service we received at the Willamette Valley Grill. We waited over 20 minuets for Amber to come take even our drink orders. Two adults and a small child snubbed by a waitress who chose to walk by us repeatedly, she was too busy serving the two other tables to even say shed be with us in a moment. We were ignore and up and left, we walked passed staff on the way out and nobody even questioned why we were leaving without paying a bill. I've never been so insulted. Oh and Amber, last night my husband tipped the waitress $10 on a $30 bill and we were planning on drinking tonight. You lost out too.

My love and I came here to check out their Friday night all you can eat dungeness crab. And WOW it was amazing! We usually take a trip to the casino but this crab wins hands down!! The staff is so friendly and attentive. Great place for date night!

Food was great, however they forgot our appetizer. Other than that service was good.
