Really neat project. I think you could accomplish something similar without using a lathe if you used a spent rifle casing and scrapped up some copper tubing roughly the same size as the bullet no longer in the shell casing.

This is actually the address for the Time Warner Cable technical offices, where the repair trucks are dispatched from. I don't know if it was once a Sam's Club, but this is definitely a mostly industrial park at this point. The only non-industrial, non-B2B location in the area is a putt-putt golf course (which does look fun...) The nearest actual Sam's is up on Hilliard-Rome Road. It's about 5 minutes away, if you wound up here in the first place.
