+Justin Vallely... I mean what can I say? Nighthawk can't compete with the likes of this beast!
If I brought this home I'm pretty sure +Rachel Slade would smack it with a rolled up news paper.

Alien Spider!

No, not really. This is the latest router from +ASUS that was just announced at IFA. This scarily cool looking thing is capable of up to 1Gbps connections over 2.4GHz and up to 2.167Gbps connections on each of two 5GHz bands, for a total of 5.3Gbps.

WIFI ALL THE THINGS!

WWWTTTFFFFFFF?????

Okay, I don't know a TON about all the facts and figures regarding the Zimmerman / Trayvon case, but self defense seemed plausible. This certainly casts a different light in things.
And how the hell does this gun shop owner determine if someone is a Muslim? Religion isn't a skin color or something physically obvious - any person can be any religion at any given time. So honestly, wtf?

I'd heard some of singles released by this band last year which are good, but the album is as a whole is awesome! I can't believe I didn't make it a point to see them when they were in town recently. If you're looking for a some good music to listen to while you work this afternoon this should do the trick!

Hey, does anyone know if there's a new Google router out, or what the next version of Android will be called, or if there's any definitely-maybe fake pictures of the N5 2015 that have leaked? Oh, EVERYBODY knows because it's been posted on G+ 1,000 times each. Okay, cool.

I really need to do something about the repeats in my G+ feed...

Watch your language. Literally.

Speak into your watch and flip it over. The person you’re talking to can read what you said in their language, and respond in kind. The latest software update for Android Wear has Google Translate built in, so unless you speak 44 languages, your wrist can now speak more languages than your mouth.

I just switched back to L yesterday because M preview 2 was causing WiFi to devour my battery... with preview 3 now out maybe I'll give it another try, or maybe I'll just wait.

I had purchased a Big O oil change / service Groupon a while back and this was one of the locations it was valid so that was initially brought me in. Even though the voucher I had purchased had expired about a month before I went it the manager didn't give me any hassle about it at all. When it came time to service my vehicle (2007 Jeep Liberty with not quite 100k miles) they got me in really quickly and seemed extremely honest and straight forward about it's condition. Example: a while back during a camping trip I damaged a boot on the main drive shaft near the transfer case. I figured I would have to have it repaired and having done some research on it, I know it won't be cheap. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the manager and one of the tech's, both of whom have a lot experience with Jeeps, concurred that the repair didn't need to take place right then and that instead I should just keep an eye on it. They could have easily spun that another way and tried to convince me that I need to take immediate action so their honesty was greatly appreciated. The same goes for their evaluation of my brakes and shocks / struts and really the overall condition of the vehicle. All said they spent over an hour looking the vehicle over on their own and with me. Because of this I will definitely be a repeat customer.

To sum it up avoid this place at all costs. I needed a routine cleaning so I visited this office because it was close to home. I arrived at noon on a Friday knowing that as a new patient it would probably take a couple hours. To begin on a positive note I didn't have to wait long before I was taken back for x-rays, which was nice. Unfortunately, that was the only quick part of the visit I'd experience. The tech shooting x-rays had to do so repeatedly because she kept missing the target, this process took over an hour... bite - hold - zap, bite - hold - zap, bite - hold - zap... Once that was done I was taken to a dirty little exam room where I was given a once over by the dentist who proceeded to talk 100 mph about how bad my teeth were and all the stuff I needed to have done. It was nothing but a sales pitch: 4 fillings, deep cleanings, bone grafts, flossers, rinsers, etc etc - I've had regular check ups my whole life & I've never even had a cavity. You can imagine my dismay. I turned down the extras and said I'd think about it, then waited and waited. Around 3pm I asked someone when I would receive the cleaning I came in for and was told that they'd have to reschedule so they could do the deep cleaning I had turned down. This of course was unacceptable so "Fine," I said, "do the damned deep cleaning." $500 was the cost but it would "alleviate my gum line 4's & 5's." Whatever... She finally finished cleaning around 4:30pm, I paid my $500 using my HSA and got the hell outta there. That was about a month ago and this week I just received an invoice that shows they charged me nearly $3000 for the visit, of which I am responsible for over $1,500. This includes more pictures than I took on my last vacation, x-rays galore, irrigations, scrapings, "unspecified procedures", and on and on. I'm filing a grievance with my insurance company and hope that I don't get stuck having to pay - What a crock! I now understand why people hate going to the dentist :(

Great Sunday afternoon. Came in for some bottomless mimosas and a bite was was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was great, the bartenders, one of whom was the owner, were awesome and personable. The food was inexpensive and really good - I had the biscuits and gravy, my wife had the soup de jour (it was the soup of the day, so obviously it was good). Definitely plan on returning.
