Always enjoy the vlogs, +CaseyNeistat. Your work definitely inspired my little family vacation film: https://youtu.be/RRKJs6QAKx4

9 months is a long time. It can also go by in a flash.

Awful. Just wasted so much time waiting and waiting and being lied to about being next. So so so bad. I should bill them for my time. Never again will I go here.

If I lived in Houston, I'd be a member for sure. Possibly the best zoo in Texas. Very clean and well-maintained, with an impressive assortment of exhibits and habitats. The lion exhibit is very cool, with the underground lion tunnel giving visitors a close call with a few of these creatures. The zoo has an incredible assortment of giraffes and rhinos and other African beasts, plus some fantastic Asian elephants and other big creatures. The smaller animals, the birds and reptiles and such, are very cool, as well. The foliage is also impressive and welcoming and well conceived. Near certain smelly animals, for example, they have robust plantings of rosemary, which smell amazing and mask potential unpleasantness. I really enjoy this spot and hope Houstonians appreciate how cool this place is.

I vote here during early voting. I occasionally buy groceries here. I even have a Remarkable Card. It's the closest grocery store to my house. And it's generally clean, rarely crowded, and easy to check out. Yet, I often can't find items I get at HEB. I often feel like the prices are too high. I often am disappointed, if only slightly, in the general selection and quality of produce and meat and such. For the types of items one typically and regularly buys from a grocery store, I generally prefer some combination of HEB, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Central Market, with a bit of Amazon, Target, and Walgreens thrown in. Randall's is a very nice store. It's just not quite for me, in terms of being my primary grocery store.

Rude, unhelpful, unknowledgable people working here. No real checkout employees on duty. Just self-checkout. I had an item that wasn't in their system. Took forever to get help. Then I couldn't get a gift card to work, and neither could the employees. They barely tried. They also didn't have the selection that they claimed to have online.

When the weather is nice, this place can be absolutely insane. It's basically Chuy's with a Polynesian flair. I consider that to be a good thing. You may or may not. The salsa is actually pretty fantastic. Some of the food is just okay, but I really like the pipeline enchiladas and their desserts. The atmosphere is Austin lake casual. The vibe is pretty recreational, with the boat dock and dam right there. Get a drink and hang out for a while. Eat some queso. It's that kind of spot.
