The reimagining of Black celebrities as Victorian heroes at the Brooklyn Museum is awesome, beautiful, and a poignant critique.

I'm only in my 20s but I still loved and miss this station, it was the best for relaxing in a  cafe and Geoffrey Holder's spot was perfect. Hate seeing everything turn in to "top hits" stations.

Tech is about people, people is about communication, and communication is about empathy.

I wrote about my friend's death, and how we as a society failed him.
Last fall, one of my closest friends took his own life. We failed him as a society. Here’s what we can do better.r

In a word: delightful. Not only do they have good hours and employees who care, but comfy varied seating, tasty teas, pastries, lunch, and locally-roasted coffee, AND an open mic on Thursday nights. Oh, and the wifi appears to actually work. Good job!

I come to Songbird for their unique, tasty burritos, Thai iced tea, and specialty drinks like the espresso spritzer. The big windows and nice furniture make this great for a cozy, bright, and refreshing lunch.

This place appears to be under renovation, and we arrived at midnight, but the room key didn't work twice, there were loud arguments happening inside a room, and there was a homeless lady with her dog scavenging coffee from the lobby... Bad neighborhood? My girlfriend decided it was too creepy so we drove a few more exits and found a much nicer hotel for $20 more.
