Judgement and Prejudice Should Never Be Tolerated
Today something happened to me that isn't new but isn't common either.
I have something to admit. I am missing two of my front teeth. While that may sound like it isn't a big deal it really can be traumatizing. I lost them getting hit by a car of kids on purpose riding my bicycle and have dropped close to $20,000 so far fixing them.
I went to ask an agent a simple question today with +United
Airlines inside of LAX and the woman who greeted me happily with a smile suddenly became extremely rude and condescending when I opened my mouth. I flew about a week ago with +United
and had a stewardess ask if I really needed more alcohol on my flight. I hadn't had a drink ANYWHERE that day. I'm wearing nice clothing. I'm clean and shaven. Hell, I'm in first class. Should it matter? Anyhow, this woman was extremely rude and I tried to talk to another United employee and she just turned from me and walked away mid-conversation. I'm pissed. My day is ruined. While it may seem petty it was/is a very traumatic situation with me and makes me embarrassed to talk to people. Taking off now. Thanks again +United
