we went on a week day family package. first time out so we wanted calm waters and wet our feet. gps work fantastic we were greeted by a friendly staff we were told where to park , rest rooms etc, we were given a complimentary lunch with drinks, believe me you will get hungry. a nice bus ride to the river was somewhat part of the excitement. once at the river the rafts were waiting for us fully ready. staff gave us some last minute instructions one guide was at the front the other took the rear. they were very patient and cordial. it was very nice and a good experience for the family. i will go again soon. one thing i regret that i could not tip them we carry no wallets with us next time the entire group has show gratitude and rewards these great folks.

Perfect day out with friends if you are in the Poconos. Dam release weekends are the most fun.

Went on a dam release day(July 23) and it was pretty crowded. All and all a good experience but, I do have to say, that there were too many rafts and not enough guides. My son actually pulled two people to safety after they were thrown out and it was a good ten minutes before the guides had even realized. With so many rafts we had to stop at least 6 times and wait for "our group" and also other rafts from other tours were mixed in creating confusion. Overall a good time, but like i said too many people on the river at the same time! Brad is alot of fun but he told us that there were 108 people going down at the same time! that's just too many at once for the staff to handle. Scenery beautiful, well organized, plenty of time spent on the water

If you are looking for a more personalized experience you should try out a trip with us on the Hudson River or Black River in upstate NY. The format on higher class rivers in NY are to have a guide in every raft. These trips are a little more action packed so you should be prepared for more adventure! Dam releases on the Lehigh are always the most fun, but also the busiest.

So we have gone whitewater rafting twice at this location both time we were with a large group 30-40 people. This is a Girl Scouting event and the girls come with their families. The first year we went we camped in tents and it was very loud. People were setting up at 11:00pm and were very load. They were shining their car lights in our tent. This year I requested a secluded tenting area when booking. We didn't get that! My husband walked around asking people to please be quiet after 11:00pm. People were blowing up their air mattresses at 11:30, locking their cars and the horn kept beeping. Now at 1:00am someone's car alarm just went off. People are still walking around and talking loudly. They are even chopping wood! Doors keep slamming. It is ridiculous! The second day there, Saturday, people set up camp behind our campsite in an area that was not even a campsite. Then they kept walking through our campsite. When I went and talked to the manager on duty he did not seem concerned about the noise from the night before nor the people setting up their own site. I was told "we will tell them not to walk threw your site" and "some troop leaders don't control their troops very well and there is little we can do about it" The bathrooms closest to us smell horrible before you even get close to them. The "nicer" bathrooms do flush but have water on the floor all the time and mud?!? or something else! Rafting is fun except when you pay extra to go on a higher level with more water and they can not give you that due to water levels and they don't give you a refund either. The bus drivers were not friendly! One of the bus drivers drove so fast that grown men were getting banged around and were bumping their heads on the side of the bus. The other bus driver got lost on his way back to the campsite!!! This will be the last time I ever bring the group here!
