This week's #TeamSpotlight is Dr. Catherine Bomben from Kingsway Animal Hospital! Born and raised in Hamilton, Dr. Bomben received a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Guelph. Catherine has been with VCA Canada Kingsway Animal Hospital as a veterinarian since 1997, and is now the Medical Director. When not at Kingsway, Catherine enjoys playing tennis, cycling, and long walks.

Used as a sweetener in many foods, Xylitol can be extremely toxic to dogs. Pet parents should be aware that there are reports of Xylitol being present in some “natural” health products, without being indicated on the product label. Please remember to ask your veterinarian before using any pet health care product not prescribed by them.
