What a fun trip to Portland OR where I setup a #SDWAN solution using Peplink HD4 with #LTE backhaul over #SpeedFusion to a Peplink Balance 380 to run a #3CX VoIP on a #MobileCommand vehicle. #VoIP powered by #nexVortex, Inc. We setup multiple VLANs for using #Peplink #sdswitch for cameras, VoIP, and secure tunneling. #Cisco APs communicate back to a central controller for a seamless wireless experience.

Went to upgrade a clients network equipment. The left picture is the original setup. The top right is the install with @peplink #sdswitch and 3' blue cables. We weren't happy with the look of the install so went back for free and changed the cables out with black 1' cables and cleaned up the server connections.

SD-WAN: Who Controls Your Data?
Did you catch the hubbub last week related to networking? If you read the news or spend any time on social media outlets it was pretty hard to miss. Congress was about to vote on a bill that would prevent internet providers from sharing your web browsing history with other companies, without your permission.

SD-WAN: BECAUSE IT DESERVES A VACATION, TOO
I’ve enjoyed several different jobs over the years. All of them had their perks, which was usually directly related to some sort of drawback. For example, working as a barista I could have as much espresso as my eyeballs and bladder could handle.

SD-WAN: The Cloud, Your ISP, and What to Do About It
Wasn’t it just yesterday when you couldn’t pick up a magazine without 3 AOL discs falling out? 100 hours of internet? For free? Wow! That’s so much internet!
