I am livid at the patent system today for actually awarding Apple the verdict, and at Apple for bringing up such stupid cases to hurt their competitors and kill innovation. I've grown to appreciate Mac myself (second to Linux for me). But come on!
Steve Jobs 1994 - "Good artists copy, great artists steal"
Tim Cook 2012 - "For us this lawsuit has always been about something much more important than patents or money. It's about values. We value originality and innovation..."
And possibly the best quote in patent history:
Samsung 2012 - "It is unfortunate that patent law can be manipulated to give one company a monopoly over rectangles with rounded corners, or technology that is being improved every day by Samsung and other companies."
I think I'm going to go patent my butt, so I can sue half the world for having a butt that looks just like mine. Yeah, that will make me rich and hurt the competition.
