Introduction
Weird Naked Indian are the alternative, acoustic rock trio of David Dale, Conor Doig and David Holland from the Steel City of Santo (San) Portablo in South Wales. Having formed one summer, not so many years ago, they were commissioned by Michael Sheen to write the anthem 'Home Is Where The Heart Is' for his legendary production of 'The Passion' in their hometown (known to the wider world as Port Talbot).

WNI have played alongside Manic Street Preachers, Paul Potts, Them Is Me, Tommy Scott and Joan Armatrading. The Weird Naked Indian Summer EP has been well received on iTunes and by BBC Introducing.

Quotes:

"This is the finest thing to come out of Port Talbot since Michael Sheen, this is Weird Naked Indian." - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6Music

"Weird Naked Indian offer up a crashing together of rock values and acoustic brilliance. A mixture that excites and soothes in one satisfying swoop." - Aaron Phillips, Amazing Radio

“Weird Naked Indian have a unique style and big sound” – Nation Radio

“Wow, incredible song craft, passionate execution, Weird Naked Indian lack nothing. Rich melodies, stomping beat and captivating charm.” – DJ Alli-Cat, Total Rock Radio

The 'Weird Naked Indian Summer' EP is available on iTunes.

Guaranteed to get you dancing in the moonlight, sunlight and any other light you care to mention, Eastbourne's favourite sons have come a long way since the release of the hauntingly catchy 'Achilles Heel' in 1999. A top five album, numerous festival headline slots, TV appearances and THAT song that made watching the Jamie Oliver adverts bearable have made them one of indie's shining lights. Capable of funky blues-rock and soaring string balladry, just try resisting the urge to sing along and tap your foot.
