Do that.. but i hope you at least will give it a try. It is actually very nice. I too didn't jump all-in at first. It was three years ago though and systemd was a lot newer back then. It's good to have two systems under a transition time. I needed maybe a month or so.. When you start to understand the back-end there is really no question of which is better.

Install Oracle Java 9 In Ubuntu, Linux Mint Or Debian Via PPA Repository [JDK9]: http://www.webupd8.org/2015/02/install-oracle-java-9-in-ubuntu-linux.html

Because I've received quite a few requests for this, you can now install the latest Oracle Java 9 (early access release) in all supported Ubuntu / Linux Mint versions, by using the WebUpd8 Oracle Java PPA.

For now, you should continue to use Java 8 because Oracle Java 9 is available as an early access release (it should be released in 2016)! You should only use Oracle Java 9 if you explicitly need it, because it may contain bugs and it might not include the latest security patches!

Audacious 3.6 Released, Install It In Ubuntu Or Linux Mint: http://www.webupd8.org/2015/03/audacious-36-released-install-it-in.html

Audacious 3.6 was released recently and with this version, the developers have decided to switch back to GTK2 by default.

The latest Audacious release also ships with an optional Qt-based user interface that can be installed alongside the GTK interface. The goal is to completely switch to Qt at some point and for now, the Qt interface is not as feature-rich as the GTK interface, so it should only be used for testing.
