Introduction
Hi! My name is Samuli Natri, I’m the founder of WDTutorials.com. I did my first website in the late 90’s with HTML. After tinkering around with inline styling a while I found CSS which made the styling process a whole lot easier. When there was need for more dynamic websites with features like user and content management I started learning PHP. After I had started collecting common code to reusable libraries it occurred to me that maybe I shouldn’t try to re-invent the wheel. Thus I found PHP Frameworks and finally Content Management Systems like Joomla and Wordpress.

I remember vaguely trying maybe Drupal 4 or 5 in the distant past but I really got into Drupal 6 in 2010 when I did my first production site with it. I was amazed what you can do with it without writing a single line of code. And indeed the main focus of my tutorials is the Drupal ‘Site Building’ or ‘Configuration’ process. This usually entails more clicking buttons & links than coding. This is naturally not the whole story: complex systems require also front- and backend level effort that can’t be dealt with by just clicking buttons. But in overall you can do quite a bit by extending your service with modules and configuring them with the user interface.

I attended Helsinki University and Helsinki University Of Technology (Social Sciences & Computer Science).

Happy Drupaling!
