I found this very large, old clam shell on a recent trip to the beach. I thought it jumped out from the black table upon which it rests, the evidence of yet another summer storm keeping it company.

A friend of mine brought me tea from India, which came in a handsome walnut box with a brass elephant with hand engravings. While I love the color of walnut wood, I decided to do this in monochrome and selectively colorize the elephant.

I just had to take a photo of this door on an empty shop in Beach Haven. Lots of cool stickers including Bob Marley, the Stones, Greatful Dead, Gerry Garcia, and Phish. Who did I miss?

While visiting Long Beach Island, we drove to Barnegat to check out the lighthouse. It was cloudy, so I though applying some HDR would make things pop, I hope you don’t think it looks too over processed.   Here’s a panorama showing part of the inlet.

Woodies is an institution in Surf City, NJ, known for their good, fresh food.  The burgers are really good.  I took the opportunity to snap a photo of my car (note the license plate) against the sign.
