We stayed in room 218 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There were 2 floors and it was beautiful. The main floor housed the bed, bathroom, a closet and a fireplace. The upstairs had a sofa sleeper and a huge two person hot tub. There were skylights and a second fireplace. I loved the room and the beautiful location in Cedarburg

Loved, loved, loved staying at the Schroeder House. Was impressed at how spotless clean our room was. Loved the decor. The only thing I would change is the mattress, it looked a little slumped where people slept. (Otherwise it was comfortable) The brunch was very good ~ I would have eaten more if it wasn't for my dang diet! Every employee we've encountered was beyond pleasant and accommodating which is a great business trait! Can't wait for our next stay!

We had never been to the Washington House before or even the area. We had a wonderful time. Our room was great and we enjoyed sitting out on the porch. Your staff was extremely welcoming and the breakfasts were unbelieveable You never find that kind of home cooked food. We enjoyed all the shops in the area and we will return!! Thanks again for a wonderful time!!

Challenging get away. Room wasn't exactly what we expected when we registered however, Wendy listened to our concerns and made it right. We will choose Washington House Inn when ever we stay overnight in Cedarburg, WI. Thank you for listening and taking care of us. We will always remember your kindness and concern.

Had a wonderful stay! The staff were very accommodating when we needed to get ready for a wedding before our room was ready. Wine and cheese in the evening and breakfast in the morning were delicious! The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

We have stayed here many, many times and are always thrilled! The wine and cheese hour was so good, in fact it became dinner for us. We stayed in Room 202, which was a lovely surprise by the size of it. The huge whirlpool tub was so nice after a long day of shopping. The beds were comfy too. It was decorated with a warm, inviting decor. And we always appreciate the great breakfast. There were choices for both of us, eggs, a variety of breads for toasting, delicious bakery items, fresh fruit and wonderful coffee and teas to choose from. We filled a to-go cup with coffee for our 1.5 hour drive home. We feel like welcome guests every time we step in the door. The staff go out of their way to make it feel like home. Thank you, we plan to be back!

Staying at the Washington House Inn was like stepping back in time, but with all the modern conveniences that we enjoy today. My room was rustic and charming, with a very comfortable bed. There was plenty of parking; a definite plus in that part of town. The staff was courteous, and went out of their way to assist the guests with their needs. The complimentary wine and cheese hour was a really nice surprise, and breakfast was amazing! The orange juice was freshly squeezed! Thanks for the experience!

We have stayed lots of times and I had always wanted to stay at the Schroeder house. We decided to finally book it for our anniversary. It was so loud the whole time- we could hear everyone on the street- during the day and at night, and then a dog barking next door all morning (aka terrible sleep). I have never had noise issues during a stay in the normal building. Other than that, the hospitality was great- I really appreciate the gluten free crackers, breakfast options and soy creamer. I have celiac disease so I follow a particular diet. And everyone that works at the inn is friendly and great. Just wouldn't return to the separate house part of the inn, it just wasn't what we were expecting.
