It's hard to believe how quickly autonomous driving technology is moving. Here's an article from Automotive News about a new trial that Uber is doing in Pittsburgh that allows riders to elect to hitch a ride in a self-driving car. http://bit.ly/2cQv017 #Mobility
When Pittsburgh wakes up this morning, some residents will have the choice of going about their day in an Uber that drives itself. The launch of Uber's self-driving pilot program marks the public unveiling of the company's secretive work in autonomous vehicles and the first time self-driving cars have been so freely available to the U.S. public.

Today's #taillighttuesday photo is from the incredible Ford GT. The car's hollow taillights actually vent air that has been pulled over the car's intercooler! Amazing. (P.s. Only 117 days until doors open!) #WAS17

"Start Your Imagination"
Introduction
Designated one of the nation’s top five auto shows by the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers, The Washington Auto Show®, a world class event, continues to wow audiences with its cutting-edge exhibits, latest model cars and displays of historic vehicles. As the “Public Policy Show” on the auto show circuit, the 10-day public show is preceded by two Public Policy Preview Days of special events and announcements for officials in government, industry and the media.

The Washington Auto Show is also the largest public show in Washington, D.C. Over the course of its many years this beloved and historic D.C. tradition has attracted Washingtonians of all stripes – and political affiliations. Visitors enjoy the annual trek to the Walter E. Washington Convention Center for the entertainment, as much as for the experience of viewing the hundreds of cars on exhibit.

At the 2016 Washington Auto Show we invited attendees to "Start Your Imagination!" Along with the engineering prowess on display among the more than 700 new models from over 42 manufacturers, featured VIP tours led by award-winning automotive writers and a special exhibit area for live painting of “art” cars, "Art of Motion". As a bonus, there were onsite visits from sports personalities and mascots, a Family Fun Zone and a Refueling Station sponsored by Jeep and presented by Samuel Adams.

We invite you to join us for another powerful show experience at the 2017 Washington Auto Show, January 27, 2015 - February 5, 2017!
