SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE...STAY AT THE WARWICK!. We stayed on Monday night March 23rd on the 15th floor. When we checked in, the staff at the desk were very rude. We had reserved two rooms, one for ourselves and one for our friends, who were traveling with us. We went to use the hot tub and pool and found them both low on water and dirty. The sauna did not work. Then at 5 AM the fire alarm went off, with" Evacuate Now, This is not a drill, Proceed to the nearest stairway. Do not use the elevators." We were in pajamas and barefooted and ran down 14 flights of cement stairs to the alley below as the fire trucks arrived. It was raining. We were on the street in bare feet, where we met the other guests, young and old, parents with children, babies. We all stood in the rain on the Seattle sidewalk as the fire department checked out the fire. It proved to be a faulty alarm system. We were told that we could come in the lobby. Nothing was offered...no towels or blankets, no hot drinks, nothing! After the system was cleared we were told we could go back upstairs to our rooms. When we checked out no comps were offered, in fact we were overcharged for a car parking fee even though we had expressly pointed out there was only one vehicle with the two rooms when we checked in. This hotel was the most horrible experience we have ever had. I came home with a terrible cough and very sore legs from being banged up on the cement stairway. The manager was very rude when we pointed out how horrible this experience had been and said the alarm was for our protection. He did not even acknowledge that a faulty alarm system may not go off when there is a REAL FIRE. So wanna be on the street in the rain sleepless in Seattle??? Stay at the Warwick for horrible service, rude managers and desk staff and early morning evacuations.

Stayed here one night with my wife and had a great room (17th floor) with a view of the Space Needle with floor to ceiling windows. It did have off-street parking but at a steep price of $35/night whether self or valet parked. Location was 8/10, did not try the restaurant (no complimentary breakfast), staff were very helpful and nice 10/10. A couple weeks later we are still not sure if the price was worth it. Certainly will not stay here again after having the view once we will go somewhere for 1/3 the price in the area.

A trip to surprise my 10-year-old daughter for her b-day. Where do I start . . . this hotel was such a disappointment. It's old, but they've tried to update it, which was like putting lipstick on a pig. The bed was terrible. I woke up sore. Pool was in the basement: small, stuffy, no windows, and the spa (which I was excited to relax in) was the color of yellow gatorade . . . or, something else. The TV was terrible . . . very fuzzy on every single station, like they were trying to pilfer a cable signal from the Westin next door. Coffee in the room was stale and gross, and when I tried to just get hot water from the coffee maker it was luke warm. Called room service to ask for a carafe of hot water, and it arrived with foamy bubbles on top, and floaty pieces of old coffee--like it hadn't been washed out since . . . ever. I took a bath at 10:30 that night (because the spa looked like pee) and while I was soaking in the tub, maintenance came up and POUNDED on my door over and over until I got out dripping wet and threw a towel on. He asked to come in because he said my bathtub was leaking to the floor below. I had to explain to him multiple times that I was not going to let him in my room because I only had a towel on!! Seriously. And then he accused me of spilling water on the floor, as if it was my fault that the water was leaking to the floor below. FYI, I had not gotten any water on the floor--at least not before he made me hop out soaking wet to answer the door. Front desk staff was "nice", but by NO means went out of their way to offer excellent customer service. When I informed them of the difficulties the next morning, they gave my daughter a plastic snow globe for my trouble. How did they know?!?! Plastic snow globes ALWAYS make up for a crappy night that I paid out the nose for! Yesssssss. Try the Warwick today . . . and maybe you, too will end up with a backache and a plastic snow globe!! Or . . . you could chose, oh, ANY other hotel in downtown Seattle.

Nicely central, close to main points of interest, and with a good view out to the Space Needle. Room comfortable and bar downstairs friendly!

No WiFi unless you want to pay $18 per day, not that nice of rooms, I would prefer motel 6 instead of this overpriced place. HD TV doesn't exist on any channel

Likes: I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very clean and the staff was very nice. I would very much enjoy staying here again in the future! Dislikes: Word of warning, be careful letting your kids play around with the TV. It's rather easy for them to purchase a on-demand show without noticing and without warning that you will be billed for the item. Also, parking is like $35 a day. Very pricey.

Liked: close to space needle, rooms are adequate, clean and quiet. Has traveller powerpoints that accept a range of plugs. Wi-fi had good coverage and okay speed. Disliked: voucher for restaurant does not apply to breakfast, coffee is expensive, t.v. is not very good.

We had the most amazing experience just staring at the window and looking at the space needle every night, drinking a very tasty local coffee, sitting comfortably in the sofa and enjoying the stylish, classy room. Lets face it, it is always raining in Seattle, so you must choose the perfect spot, and this completely equipped hotel is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the city in its fullness. In addition, the service is very gentle and nice, everything is clean and ready for you to use!
