Our experience at the Warwick was quite pleasant, professional and courteous staff addressed all our questions promptly and the room and pool/hot tub was very nice. Affordable rates and located very conveniently down town close to everything. The TV generally sucked but we were there to explore Seattle so who cares! Unlimited free coffee is way more important.

Extremely frustrated by the lack of customer service at this hotel. Mind you, I have not personally stayed at this hotel. However, I recently sent a package to a hotel guest. When I confirmed that the package had arrived (delivered on 6/26) I felt confident that my job was done. I was mistaken. The guest informed me late yesterday (6/29) that they did not receive the package. I called the hotel this morning and was told that the package was, indeed, there. That it was in the back with a note to give it to the guest the next time they check in. Me: Why? Front desk boy: The guest must have requested that. Me: No, I'm sure that they did not as they've now told me that they did not receive the package. FDB: Well, why didn't they come to the front desk then? Me: You know, perhaps they should have. Or, perhaps you could have told them that the package was there when it arrived. FDB: The guest must have requested that they not receive it until next time. After circling this drain a couple of times I gave up.

I had several issues during my stay, and it was the first time I have regretted staying at a four-star hotel. The guest services manager, Derek Ovall, was great when I explained my issues upon departure and compensated me fairly for the trouble I experienced. However, I don't know if I will ever stay at another Warwick after this first experience; I have never felt that my business was less valued at any hotel before. My issues with my stay were as follows: 1) At check-in, the woman was not very friendly, informative, or helpful. She didn't know anything about the upgrade that I requested, and she basically shrugged it off and said that I must not have gotten the upgrade without investigating further. 2) I was told that there was complimentary internet and Wi-Fi in the business center, but it was only internet through the desktop stations. I do not feel comfortable checking my banking information on a public PC, much less on one that everyone who walks by can see. The high-speed in-room Wi-Fi was $18.00 per day, which I find to be prohibitively expensive. 3) Upon entering my room, there was trash on the balcony in the form of a half-eaten Slim Jim. 4) The TV picture was terribly fuzzy and nearly unwatchable. 5) I was unable to reach the front desk from the phone in my room, which appeared to be malfunctioning. I had to call from my cell phone to reach the front desk. 6) I called the 800 number for Warwick international to complain, since there wasn't a manager on duty Sunday night; I didn't feel like dealing with the woman at the front desk that checked me in. I was on hold for 29 minutes before someone answered. She told me that she would relay my concerns to the front desk and try to resolve them for me, but I never heard back about a single issue. 7) Our keys stopped working at 11 am even though check-out was at noon, and I came back from the pool and was unable get into my room. I had to wait until my friend got out of the shower to let me in, and I would have had to go to the front desk while wet otherwise. I am giving it 2 stars because the bed was comfortable and clean.

This hotel was ideal for my stay -- great staff, beautiful rooms, and a great location. And keys! Real keys like the ones you have on your keychain! I'm not sure why that had such a big impact on me, but it did. Nice view of the Trump Tower from my room. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. My room wasn't huge, but it didn't need to be -- great work Kimpton.

SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE...STAY AT THE WARWICK!. We stayed on Monday night March 23rd on the 15th floor. When we checked in, the staff at the desk were very rude. We had reserved two rooms, one for ourselves and one for our friends, who were traveling with us. We went to use the hot tub and pool and found them both low on water and dirty. The sauna did not work. Then at 5 AM the fire alarm went off, with" Evacuate Now, This is not a drill, Proceed to the nearest stairway. Do not use the elevators." We were in pajamas and barefooted and ran down 14 flights of cement stairs to the alley below as the fire trucks arrived. It was raining. We were on the street in bare feet, where we met the other guests, young and old, parents with children, babies. We all stood in the rain on the Seattle sidewalk as the fire department checked out the fire. It proved to be a faulty alarm system. We were told that we could come in the lobby. Nothing was offered...no towels or blankets, no hot drinks, nothing! After the system was cleared we were told we could go back upstairs to our rooms. When we checked out no comps were offered, in fact we were overcharged for a car parking fee even though we had expressly pointed out there was only one vehicle with the two rooms when we checked in. This hotel was the most horrible experience we have ever had. I came home with a terrible cough and very sore legs from being banged up on the cement stairway. The manager was very rude when we pointed out how horrible this experience had been and said the alarm was for our protection. He did not even acknowledge that a faulty alarm system may not go off when there is a REAL FIRE. So wanna be on the street in the rain sleepless in Seattle??? Stay at the Warwick for horrible service, rude managers and desk staff and early morning evacuations.

This was the perfect place for a company training conference to be held. I came here for work-related reasons as my training was held here in one of the conference rooms. There is valet and upon waiting to enter the conference there is an open lounge area with sofas to wait in. While waiting free coffee and tea was available in the lounge. The conference room was clean and brightly lit with open windows. It is a nice hotel and a great place to be at to learn.
