With old clothes on, gloves, garbage bags and big smiles, volunteers traveled up and down the Creek collecting trash consisting of pieces of metal, glass and tires. Others …

Mill is really neat and history very interesting. Restaurant is ok... But service was goodMy biggest complaint is with the old white haired lady who worked in the grist mill area. She was extremely rude to my children and wife. Another customer actually followed us out and said he couldnt believe her attitude. If you dont want little kids to blow on bird chirping whistles then dont sell them in the store and certainly dont take them out of the box they were purchased in and hand them too them.

Always some jerk who wants to complain and berate a business ans there products or services. I would bet he or she never brought up their dissatisfaction with the owner. Be a real coward, tell the world on the internet!

I love this place! It's beautiful and all the events are so cool. My favorite things are the restaurant upstairs (the beans and cornbread are phenomenal) and of course their fresh ground organic grains. I would recommend anyone to visit this family friendly historical location.

War Eagle Mill is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy a step back into history of water wheel flour and corn grinding memories. The Mill is set in a lovely area on a creek next to a one lane board bridge which in itself is an excellent place to stand and look over the creek and watch and listen to the large water wheel turn with all its creeks and groans as the current runs through it and forces it to turn. Inside the Mill, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and are quick to answer any questions you may have. Upstairs in the Bean Palace restaurant you will find a small Museum and a quaint area to sit and relax and maybe sample some of their famous Cinnamon Pecan pancakes. I did and they were delicious! I sat by an open window and listened to the wheel turn below me and it was wonderful! On the way down from the restaurant there is the country store to browse through and pick up a few items such as different kinds of flours, corn meals and baking mixes to make your own War Eagle memories in your kitchen. I would put this on a "must stop and see" list if you are going through Northwestern Arkansas. I would definitely stop again.

3/14/15 Sat. Family and I visited the War Eagle Mill today. The Mill had Irish music (LOVED IT) and a Irish lunch. The wait staff and cooks had no clue what they were doing. No gloves were used to prepare or dish up the food. Server did not know who ordered what meals. The Corn Beef was tough to eat. The soda bread was more of a garnish than anything. About the size of a nickel. One small bite of cabbage on the plate. Price was way too much for what we got!! We come to eat as a family and each plate was brought out one at a time. I would not recommend going on Sunday! Again the music was great!!! Thanks, -M

The Mill is awesome...the Bean Palace restaurant not so much! Prices are too high and food was not really good. Beans were cold..salad was bland, sandwiches plain...not worth the stairs to the 3rd floor!!!
