Staff wasn't very friendly. The kids didn't seem to mind that as much as the adults, though. Kids had fun even though some of the play rooms were closed. Instead of announcing closing time, all the lights were shut off at five o'clock. Not very safe when a bunch of small children are running around trying to find their parents. Won't be back.

Thanks for your feedback Jenniffer and we're sorry to hear about your bad experience. When did this happen? Weekend or weekday? We have very strict closing time protocol. There is always an automatic message coming at 4.45 pm anouncing place will be closing at 5 pm. Also three screens anouncing 5 pm closing time from 4.30 pm. A last announcement at 5 pm announcing that centre is closed. However lights never go off at 5pm. They will go off at 5.15 pm after staff is around the centre telling customers we're closing. Lights never will go off completely. There is a section that is on all the time that provides enough lighting so it is not dangerous to anyone.

Great concept. Generally lots for kids to do but having places off limits for kids not associated with a party was a let down for my kids.

Such a unique and fun concept - we had happy, engaged kids but the props could do with some replenishing and updating (e.g. there were only 2 soft toys and a couple of semi working medical props in the vets clinic).

I spent most of the day here with 4 kids (aged 2, 3, 5 & 8). With the busy-ness of the vacation care kids there in the morning, it took a while for my little group to warm up to the idea, but after 4 hours they were reluctant to leave. I love this concept of having a range of scenarios to encourage creative role - play! There was always something happening for the kids who weren't engaged in their own play, and the staff were constantly inviting kids to participate in different activities. I especially appreciated this for the older girl. The thing I appreciated the most was the way the staff memorised the kids' names. Only a small thing, but it made such a difference when they were speaking to them & in creating a sense of belonging. Thanks for a great day Wannabees!

Great place for kids to learn a little about their world - what happens in each of the various locations in a city, who works there, what they do, etc.

Wannabees is very unique. The most fun, imaginative & creative play centre that we have found. The kids love playing pretend and dressing up. It's endless hours of fun.

Actually, it was very disappointing experience. The facility looks pretty bald, run-down and kinda dirty (please wash your hands after!). Most themed rooms are missing items essential for play - e.g. no nappies in the nursery, no doctor's equipment in the hospital, or no money in the supermarket. Even with liveliest imagination it's quite hard to play a dentist visit with only a chair and couple of pictures. Some equipment was broken, e.g. the wheelbarrow and the crane at the construction site. Looked like it had been broken for quite a while, but the staff simply didn't care. Adults must pay entrance fee too, although a small amount, but it looks like money paid for nothing. I like the idea, but the current state of the facility is very poor. Won't be coming back.

Hi Oxana. Thanks a lot for your review and comments. We valued our customer's feedback as it is the only way to improve our services. We're very sorry to hear about your disappointment. School holidays are the busiest time on our centre and when you combine that to rainy days it creates the busiest and craziest days for us. The day of your visit (yesterday) was one of them, it also was the last day of the school holiday. We do our best to keep up with the maintenance and replenishment of our props and accessories. However it is not easy when you have hundreds of kids playing with them on daily basis. The fact that so many parents don't supervise the kids and let them do whatever they want with the equipment causes that every day we end up with lots of broken and missing props. We hope you have the chance to visit during school term and you will notice a huge difference in all aspects as we're not as busy as we are during school breaks.
