Hi folks, going to Google I/O in SF this year and staying in a hotel? You get a chance to win 200 dollars!

We want to invite you to a diary study for approximately 30 minutes - 45 minutes. Please sign up here: https://docs.google.com/a/cornell.edu/forms/d/1Tgmp7WjLerKIOHG7XLPuKP62UIAQfdAzbUocaRKP-Ew/viewform

After signing up, you can go here and download the diary: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bzyfx6h9favp3bg/Interactive%20diaries_ONE%20day.pdf. After completing the diary, please return it to xw282@cornell.edu.(For any reason if you cannot open or edit the diary, you can try Adobe Reader. Download it here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/).

You will be automatically entering our prize pool by participating in this study. The chances for winning the prizes are approximately 3 out of 50.
- First Prize: 200 dollars, with one winner
- Second Prize: 50 dollars, with two winners (each of the two winners will receive 50 dollars)

A little bit about the research: we are researchers at Cornell University, who are passionate about user experience and energy use. We want to invite you to our diary studies on user experience around energy consumption in hospitality. In particular, we want to understand how you use electronics (e.g., bathroom light(s), bedroom light(s), TV, etc.) in a hotel room, and we want to listen to your experiences of staying in the hotel.

If you have any question regarding the study, don’t hesitate to contact Xiying Wang at xw282@cornell.edu(she is a PhD student at Cornell University Information Science Department).

We greatly appreciate your help! Looking forward to your participation.

Today is my last day of Wandou Labs in 2011. Although I am not used to say goodbye, I hope that I can visit all wandous again in the near future. Thanks all for creating such fun and energetic culture : )

Why does new Google+ show up every Google hangout of mine in the past few weeks? Personally, I think this should be private information. Whether (or not) I had video chat with my friends/family should not be displayed on my Google+ page. Interesting change, but what is the rationale behind this?

I'm personally not sure that those "you hung out" posts are useful. But at least only the participants can see them.
